This is an extremely simple tool! Very good quality! I would recommend purchasing both the inline pressure regulator and the inline filter which both attach to the inlet of the gun. I would also suggest watching any spraying online videos with respect to "HVLP paint guns" before using. It would eliminate a lot of the guess work on setup.....

I don't have a lot of experience with the hvlp spray process but needed a gun for a large job spraying pre cat lacquer on mdf kitchen doors. This gun certainly met my needs using my 7 cfm at 90 psi compressor. With the tank pressure regulated to 60 psi and the gun to 40, it was able to deliver ample amounts of product and good coverage. Easily adjustable easy to clean and well made.

I did not read Amazon's Q&A on this gun or I would have learned that it has a 1.4 mm tip. No where on the product description does it say what the tip size is. A 1.4 mm tip is for spraying things that are almost water thin. I did not want to thin the paint I was spraying that much. It seems like a good gun for what it is made for but it did not fit my needs because the tip size is just too small. If I had realized it has a 1.4 mm tip I would not have bought it.
