I moved from an eero system to the 970 and the speed I am getting from my satellites is far superior. I was unable to successfully run zoom meetings before, this is now resolved. Really happy with the performance. Units are larger than I expected and price is high but I can now work from home in my garden office without any issues and less complaints of lag from the kids when they are gaming too

I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the Netgear Orbi RBK970. Setup was simple and straightforward—just followed the included instructions and everything was up and running in no time. Performance-wise, it’s been flawless. All of my devices connect seamlessly, and I’m consistently hitting the maximum internet speeds provided by my ISP, which is a huge win. Even in a large home with multiple users and smart devices, the system hasn’t missed a beat. What really stands out is the rock-solid stability. I’ve had zero issues with devices dropping off the network, and the connection has remained strong and consistent throughout. Highly recommended if you're looking for a premium, high-performance mesh system that delivers exactly what it promises.

Seriously Overpriced for the performance. Range not close to as advertised, maybe if you live in a new build with paperwalls, signal can barely penetrate beyond 1 room. The reliability is awful, keeps dropping satellites and optimizing. Not worth it at all

I bought a 3 unit system after reading the glowing reviews in various websites including Amazon. Returned it after a week of trial use. I live in a 4 bedroom detached house in the countryside and signal strength and WiFi conncection reliability inside the house are of primary importance. A big advantage of this system is the implementation of the wireless backhaul which I can't fault. I had a very strong wireless connection between the router and both satellites. Nevertheless the performance of the main Wifi network was mediocre. The latest iPhones (16 pro and 17) frequently dropped connections. Also the implementation of of the IoT network was poor - I could not get download speeds above 90 Mbps with M250 Virgin broadband.

After installing super fast fibre 2 years ago and on seeing speeds of around 150Mb against a promised 700Mb minimum this product finally opened the fire hose and I get speeds up to 1Gb at point of use, setup was simple, yes it’s pricey but it’s an investment for the future of the home. My opinion is, it’s worth every penny.

When it works it’s v fast but was hard to get it it to register in the app and then has lost link with the satellites - a bit irritating after a week after installation

Always struggled with speed issues in a 4 bedroom house. Finally took the plunge and what a difference. I’m now getting almost 1gbps in every part of the house. I’ve not had a single drop out in service and everything is working so well it’s almost unbelievable. Going from 100mbps to the full speed I’m paying for is amazing. It is worth every penny although it is a little expensive and I’m sure that will reduce over time

I had run an Apple Airport network for a long time. Decided to upgrade to a quad band system to future proof. It was easy to install with one wireless and one wired satellite. Wifi can be fussy about location and the mesh advantage of passing between rooms was a fiddle. Took much moving around of the wireless satellite. Wired satellite was a breeze. My streamers are now wired (Cat 7 which sounds best) to each satellite. Very good sound. Maintains 550+mps download. No complaints really. I am still not sure about the physical range of the wifi signal but it seems ok. Orbi app for my iPhone is so cool and useful. Glad I bought it!

Le NETGEAR Orbi 970 est le meilleur système WiFi que j’ai testé. Sa technologie Quad-band WiFi 7 offre une portée et un débit exceptionnels dans toute la maison. Contrairement à mon ancien système où j’avais besoin de 5 satellites pour une couverture moyenne, ici deux suffisent largement. Le débit reste très élevé même à distance, sans coupures ni ralentissements. L’installation est simple et la gestion via l’application est fluide. C’est un produit haut de gamme, mais il vaut clairement son prix. Et au niveau de la vitesse du wifi j'atteignais péniblement les 800Mb avant avec mon autre système branché à ma Freebox ultra et maintenant il n'y a qu'a regarder le résultat du speedtest que j'ai fait avec le Orbi !

This does not work at all my internet constantly drops wherever I am in the house. I contacted Netgear to help and they tried to fix but they couldn't. Even though it was faulty from the day I bought the product they refuse to send me replacement. This was the biggest waste of money I ever have done I have to go buy something else now. Completely waste of time, effort, and money. Also the warranty that Netgear promises is garbage they refused to replace or fix my product.

This system is unbelievable, i sorted out all the connection problems in my place with this unbelievable product. Easy installation and amazing connection and speed.

I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. I ordered the NETGEAR Orbi RBE973S 3-Pack for almost €2,000. The product listing and the box clearly state that it should include 3 units: 1 router and 2 satellites. However, when I opened the package, there were only 2 physical Orbi units inside. For a premium product at this price level, this is completely unacceptable. I expected a complete, high-end mesh WiFi system, but instead I received an incomplete package and now have to spend time documenting the issue and trying to get it resolved. This has been a very frustrating experience. A missing unit in such an expensive product is a serious problem, not a small accessory issue. I cannot recommend buying this unless Amazon/NETGEAR can guarantee that customers actually receive the full 3-pack they paid for. Very disappointing.
