I give it 5 stars because it performs well for the price. It has limitations, but if you want to avoid limitations, spend more. It doesn’t seem to be smart enough to charge from a variable voltage USB-C port, but seems to charge fine from any USB-A port that provides power. It overheated once and shut down after a few hours of continuous use with it plugged in and the brightness full so I won’t do that anymore. Works well for smart home control and briefly monitoring security cameras, but not suitable for continuous monitoring. You should avoid running multiple apps at once because it is already slow and each app running in the background reduces performance noticeably. Battery life is OK (2 - 4 hours at medium brightness).

Delivery was great. I got it a 8:00pm, though. I wish I would have gotten it when it was still daylight. Besides that, I kinda feel like this tablet was a east of money. It is difficult to get past the lock screen because when I swipe up, it won't stay up. I have to do it about 7 or 8 times before it will stay. As far as performance goes, its great if you don't install anything or surf the internet. It is extremely slow and it froze up 5 times after taking it out of the box. The screen feels like plastic with a little rough texture. The picture is okay, but not as good as my phone. For some reason, Wi-Fi is slow and sometimes has trouble connecting. I had to delete some included apps, but it still runs poorly. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt despite the bad reviews. I should have listened. Even though it was cheap, I still feel as if its a waste of money. I could have used that money to fill the tank on my car.

This IWEGGO Android 14 Tablet with case is an excellent value. The screen quality as well as sound quality are far superior to other products of similar price. The tablet is really fast, the battery charge last a long time and is a pleasure to use. The price point is very reasonable and it seems to be well built and should serve you well whether scrolling, reading, doing research or streaming a video. I am not a gamer, so I have no information or opinion about it's suitablility for that. I highly recommend it for all the other uses

Cheap. I bought this tablet to do some mobile app development and wanted to see in a worst case scenario how my app would preform on "interesting" hardware. It does ok... The color rendering is a bit bright and the touch screen needs a firm touch. I was doing development and had it hooked to the PC in developer mode so I can load my app in real time while coding and it suddenly shut off and disconnected from the PC. I thought it had died. I tried hard reboots, resetting it via the pin hole under the power button (30 secs)... nothing helped. It looked hopeless. I ordered a different model and while I was waiting, I figured meh, what the heck, I'll take it apart and see if there is anything I can do to fix it (I am also an electronics engineer) - there is no user repairable parts inside. It requires taking a tiny screw out near the sd card insert, then a spudger will open the back cover. I checked everything over and didn't see anything obvious. I was about to get my multimeter and start probing and figured let me try this other charger cord but plugged into a charger port on my USB hub (no data on that). It immediately came back to life and started showing 1% battery on the screen and charging... Odd... I had tried 3 or 4 different chargers (granted they were all smart charger for my Pixel line of phones). It apparently doesn't know how to operate with smart chargers or computers that negotiate charge current so no charging occurs. Plug it into a dumb charger (meaning, the charger doesn't do fast or quick or rapid charging) and it charges... I guess you get what you pay for. But I saved it from the trash heap... It's charging up on the dumb charger... just fyi for anyone that may have something like this happen. Try a regular old school slow charger or a USB 2.0 port - not the blue ones on the computer.

Wow is this thing slow! I mean, watching paint dry slow. Image a snail going backwards slow! Besides that, its decent enough for the price. The screen is bright and clear, the build quality seems sturdy enough, and the buttons have good tactile feedback. I can't tell about the touchscreen response... ie. is the touchscreen temperamental, or is the delay in a touch the result of it being so slow it can't process those touches fast enough? My use case for this thing is limited. I only use it for apps that I don't want on my phone... ie. restaurant apps to get deals with, etc. I don't use it for anything else. It is miserably slow, but I'll wait a few mins to save $5 on a burger combo. :-) I can't imagine trying to use it for anything more... surfing the web? Not a chance. Watching media? Umm no. It is also very picky about charging. There are reviews about charging problems. I ran into a similar situation and almost returned it because I couldn't get it to charge. I was using the wrong charger... too powerful. It is limited to a 5v 2a charger. Use one of those and it charges fine. Anything more and it wont charge at all. I suppose that's better than burning it up. Throughout this I did have the opportunity to deal with the company that sells them, and I have to say, they were surprisingly responsive and very willing to help. When I couldn't get it to charge, they didn't ask any questions and simply told me to return it and they'd send me a new one. When I discovered it would charge sometimes and not others, they responded to emails within just a few hours and helped me narrow down that the problem was with the charger and not the tablet itself. Definitely kudos to them. Unfortunately still a junky tablet.
