Got a used carrier mini split system, and the heat pump was missing the valve cover on the side. So I modified this to be the cover so it would match the existing line cover on the wall. It's perfect!If you do this; make sure there is nothing behind the metal that you're putting the self-tapping screws into. In my case there was just enough open space to clear the screws.I made a cut out for the lines to go through, put some weather stripping around the edges to help repel water better.I just used a 1" thick packing foam as an extra insulation for the lines going into the custom valve cover.I am please. This is so great.

I installed a Split AC unit and needed something to shield the whole from rain and debris this works perfect for both of those!

Old cover was broken when we bought house leaving giant hole in siding. This was such an easy cover up, took 2 minutes to install.

So the quality on this is good, and it works well, just as expected. I have no issues with it. It was easy to install, and does appear to have a good thickness to it. Just need to know that this is just the top part for where it comes out of the wall. Nothing else. You will have to buy those seperate. Time will tell if it discolors or not. It does fit with the other components I have.

This is the weather head for a line set cover for a mini split system. It attaches at the top of the line set channel to the siding where the refrigerant lines, drain, and electric wires enter the house through the side. The purpose is to protect the components from the weather and UV light. It is easy to attach and I also used some spray foam to further seal from the bottom. Does the job.
