I rechecked my wiring and fond nothing wrong then directly wired the positive and negative to the battery and the picture still continued flicker from camera view to black screen. It has a metal body (not plastic) so it feels like it should actually stand the test of time. easy to install and the picture quality was much better than I expected. true 1080p quality!
