Beginner's Guide to C# Programming: A Practical Approach in Visual Studio

This book is spectacular. It should be shown in the top 3 when search for C#. It walks you through building C# applications step by step assuming you have zero knowledge in programming. What I particularly like about it is that it explains very well the commonly used features in Visual Studio and gives you examples of how to use them. I have purchased more than 10 C# books and none of them filled the gap between learning C# Console programming and using C# in building Windows Applications. I would give this book 1000 stars if I could.

I love this book, I am a true beginner at c# and very little coding experience and I was able to follow the examples with no issues. I love all the examples and pictures. If you are wanting to learn more about c# forms then this is the book for you.

This an excellent book on Window Forms Applications. I would recommend this above all the other books I have purchased. Most of the other authors understand programming, but can not communicate to the beginner. This book communicated to the beginner (Myself). The author on his web site has downloads of the lesson and screen shots of the book.
