Gruffalo Crumble & Other Recipes

We have made several of these and they are very fun

Such a cute, fun and entertaining cookbook! My daughter and I laughed so much while reading some of the recipes and making them. This is an amazing way to make some memories with your child.

Bought for my grandson for his birthday. His mom is very good about letting him help in the kitchen so I thought this would be a great way to incorporate fun food and family time. Some really fun recipes but daughter-in-love will have to convert measurements and cooking temps before making anything. Wish they had published one for Britain and one for the States.

He hecho alguna receta y son fáciles, guiándote en los pasos en los que te pueden ayudar los niños, aunque sean muy pequeños. Algunas dulces y otras muy sanas, a los niños les gusta hacerlas y luego comérselas. En algunas recetas usé la airfryer y el resultado fue muy bueno. El libro con espiral en el canto, te facilita el uso: lo puedes poner de pie apoyado en los cantos, y no necesitas sujetarlo en nada, por lo que es muy cómodo para seguir las recetas. Si conoces las historias, se hace más entretenido para pasar la tarde con ellos.

It's a lovely kids cookbook with pretty accurate instructions and great tasting recipes for the family to enjoy. The recipes are easy to follow and can be modified to suit families tastes. My most go to recipe is the Gruffalo crumble as it's perfect portion for a family of three and the crumble topping is actually double to what you need so I always save half of it in freezer for the next lit of crumble topping.

This is a great book for children and will be perfect for my 4 year old over winter when we are looking for rainy day activities. It will probably also encourage her to eat more fruit and vegetables which are incorporated into many of the fun designs. The theming and illustrations in the book are lovely and all taken from the gruffalo books as you would expect. I like that every recipe has a picture of the finished article. The pages are good quality and thicker than most books and it is ring bound, so good for use by little hands. There are 24 receipes in 4 different sections: scrambled snake and other breakfasts, deep dark wood snacks, turned out toes and other meals and gruffalo crumble (of course!) and other sweet treats. All of the recipes are appealing to young children, are relatively straight forward and most can be made with ingredients you would be likely to have in the cupboard, maybe with the exception of gelatine for the jellies. This morning we had mouse toast and scrambled snake for breakfast and my daughter loved it. See pictures for all the recipes included, an example of one of the recipes and my version of mouse toast. All the recipes look easy to do, apart from the gruffalo cake which is a bit more creative. Really looking forward to making gruffalo crumble and owl ice cream!
