Functions like a treadmill
Amazon prime delivery was on time and efficient. No shipping damage, all the bits and pieces that were supposed to be in the box were in the box. You do need a Phillips head screwdriver and adjustable wrench for assembly. I, 55f and the only one in the house who reads instructions and makes sure all the pieces are there first, decided to put it together myself. It didn't feel like 2.5 hours but that's how long it took. Did I complain? A little. In Step 6 I carefully loosened/tightened four pre-attached screws in the handrails to get the larger screws/washers in place. Turn the page for Step 8 to read "if there are four screws pre-attached inside ... remove and discard them..." grumble. It's recommended you have a person help you hold to attach the console assembly but it's doable by yourself if you're flexible. I did need the second person for steps 13-15 (of 17) to hold the belt frame up while I attached the crossbar and storage latch. Yes, there are stickers and "warnings" stating that the treadmill is locked and will not start until activated at ifit.com. You do NOT need to enter your credit card information (find the small font that says skip or no thank you). You will still get the one month free trial. I do not like that I cannot input individual stats (height, weight, etc.) into the treadmill directly. Those fancy features come with the ifit app subscription. I did poke around the iFit programs a bit - would have been nice for it to limit what I could see to this particular machine; in other words there were plenty of programs that incline to 18% or 34% automatically - useless for this machine as it only goes to 10%. But, the walks/runs that take you on tours of places are neat. Would I buy into the subscription? Not unless it synchs with my Fitbit which it does not. Speaking of which, the treadmill pulse bar monitor and my Fitbit read are fairly close. I'm not sure about distance/steps because I keep forgetting to check...which is why synching would be nice. The machine lifts out of the way and lowers easily (not a feature we use regularly but it's there if needed). As with every other piece of exercise equipment we've ever owned, the built in speakers are not awesome. The lip at the bottom of the console holds phone/tablet admirably, if I could design it myself I would have it at the top so that I didn't have to look down to see my phone (as the ifit trainer is telling me to keep my head up). NOTE: none of the assembly steps in the manual indicate to attach the safety key. It's just pictured hanging off the pulse bar in the final step (it did not come attached, it's wrapped in a small bag with the screws etc.). You do need to have the red safety key in place on the pulse bar to make the machine work (there's a small indented area with a key logo). The important emergency information on how the *safety* part of the key works (if the clip is attached to you) is highlighted in the manual under HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER. Be safe. So far, we've had four family members of varying sizes use the machine on full workouts - walkers and runners. Haven't wanted to adjust cushioning, there's been no belt slippage and there have been no weird noises. For the price, we recommend it. UPDATE 3 months later: after browsing the iFit programs for a few days I found the functionality between the app and the treadmill to be what I needed in my life. I have an annual subscription (still don't need to leave your CC info with them permanently). Because I'm not just staring at the wall while using the machine I look forward to hopping on 5-6 days a week faithfully, traveling around the world - heck, I've even done a few virtual 5k races! Machine is still solid - I use it the most, but my husband is on it 3-4x/week and a teenager too. No squeaks or issues thus far.

Great and affordable 👌🏼
Fairly easy to assemble, it was packaged well for protection. My husband and I put it together less than 30min. It’s easily movable(front wheels) and sturdier than you would think for the build and affordable price. Incline transitions aren’t speedy but smooth. We got it as an addition to our garage gym. Doesn’t feel bulky or space consuming(although we still not set on where to have it 🤔). Cup holders couldn’t fit my tumbler but as reference the tall can of liquid death fits and has wiggle room. (Not sponsored by liquid death 😅) I got a good walk and run on it, it feels good, I don’t feel like there is hard impact on my legs/knees. So far, I love it and look forward to using it more and maybe seeing if my dog will use it 🤔. I personally don’t have interest in using the ifit subscription but cool that it’s compatible.

Purely Functional No Frills/Extras Sweat Machine, Outstanding Build Quality for the $
This review is for the 2024 NordicTrack T Series 5 Treadmill (Model No. NTL17624). I bought this on Black Friday 2024 and got this for a fantastic price w/ an Amazon Promo for $335. I was originally in the market for some kind of cardio equipment and was originally actually looking at Peloton equipment. I was debating if it was worth the money and I saw the Peloton treadmill was $2700. After doing some research, it’s really just over-hyped marketing on the technology front for what basically is a glorified giant ipad with fast processing and high money reoccurring subscriptions. Ultimately, I could not justify to myself putting a 3-4 month payment comparable to that of a entry-level BMW/Mercedes Car Model on a treadmill lol – even with the Black Friday promos et al. At the end of the day I realized I’m buying this equipment to ultimately work as a sweat machine and get some intense cardio in for myself as I’ve put some weight on since marriage and am approaching my mid 30’s and was sick of the $25 monthly planet fitness subscription I barely utilized for most the past year because the gym was on the other side of town and the excess time wasted going in and out of the gym for cardio workouts (changing clothes, shower, having to look semi-presentable in a public gym where I bump into people I know in real social life) was just eating my limited hours in a day with work & family life. I cancelled that subscription and bought this instead. It arrived a week after Black Friday. The amazon guys delivered it in my garage and I took it from there to get it to my basement. The total shipment package is about 140 lbs so having a 2nd person to help you will make life much easier. I immediately checked the parts to make sure everything came in top tier condition from A to Z and luckily, it was packaged extremely well with no horror stories to report on my end. As it gets pretty frigid and cold in New England in the winter months, I wanted a machine that I can keep in the house for quick HIIT workouts in morning before I take a shower and get my start for my workday in the office. So to the treadmill itself: -Excellent Build Quality for the $ from a Reliable Brand (Nordictrack is owned by iFit Inc. which also owns ProForm – these equipment brands were mainstays of the 90’s and 2000’s in any Dick’s sporting good stores that sold treadmills). This is my first NordicTrack treadmill but my parent’s ProForm treadmill(s) are still going strong – 20 years later (and I ultimately attribute that robust build quality/longevity to the parent company of both brands– iFit Inc.). - Relatively easy to install compared to other treadmills (I’ve assembled a much, much more complicated ProForm treadmill with all the bells and whistles in my parent’s house) and this was so easy as compared to that model. You just need to be patient – watch a couple of youtube videos – and make sure you understand each step. Also I did 95% of the installation by myself, I just needed my wife basically for the last part which is when you actually mount the console on top of the treadmill and keep it plugged in (you will want a 2nd person with you for this part especially because this is how electric power comes to the treadmill belt & console). Everything else can be done by 1 person. -2.6 HP Treadmill Rating “Engine” – this is plenty for most people. It’s not 3.0 but I found I was able to do a full run/sprint on this for a good 5 minutes with no problems and I’m a fairly big guy (over 215 lbs). It’s a nice sweet spot between 2.0 HP Treadmills (weak/only good for walking) and 3.0 HP Treadmills (where a lot of commercial treadmills start). -The Console is Super Basic, Absolutely No Frills/Gimmicks – the iFit subscription is the one thing you can get with this (it comes w/ 1 month free with this purchase), but you do not need it for the treadmill to function. It is very easy to understand and very easy to use. This would actually be a really good model for seniors in your family who hate the confusing hyper technology of today’s treadmills. This is a treadmill I’d feel safe with my grandmother using. -iPad/Phone Stand – You can easily make it as fancy or as simple as you want. I will def be using it with my iPad so I don’t feel “wanting” for anything more. All I need is access to YouTube and some headphones and I’m good to go. - Treadmill is def compact and very easy to wheel around to a different part of the room (you just need to lift the rear and basically wheel it around like a farm wheel barrow) -Keep in mind, this does not fold up. Repeat. This.does.not.fold. If you’re someone pressed for extreme space living and want to always maximize every square foot in your residence, this might not pass that test. Although its footprint as normal laid out flat is fairly compact when benchmarking to other treadmills. Bottomline: This machine will get you to sweat without having to sell your kidneys on the black market to do so. You can walk, jog, and yes use it for sprinting and it will work just fine. Most consumers will love this model. Here’s who this model this is NOT for: If you are a serious runner, like you’re one of those people that ran highschool cross country and track and you have an average speed of like 11 mph when you do a sprint and/or power run for like 10 minutes+ straight– you should probably look at higher grade models in NordicTrack’s lineup with at least a 3.0 HP+ rating.

I can't seem to find anything terribly wrong with it.
The first thing to point out is that this item is not meant to be some sort of “super” treadmill with tons of bells and whistles. If that is what you are looking for, break out the checkbook baby. This is supposed to be inexpensive, compact and convenient and that is exactly what I was looking for. This was a Christmas gift for my girlfriend when I felt bad that she couldn’t go out and take her morning walk or jog because it was either horribly cold or raining. I was a bit concerned when I pulled it out of the box as it didn’t look exactly like the pictures. The labeling and graphics were not the same. But, it went together without any trouble and it fired up as expected. So, in order to make sure it was safe for her to use, I thought I would try it out. Yeah right… I just wanted to check it out. Thinking about all the reviews I was reading, complaining of belts needing constant adjustment or strange noises coming from the unit, I clenched my teeth waiting for something to be “off” with the machine. But after about 5 minutes of taking a stroll on it and feeling my legs starting to burn, I said “yeah… this will work.” It has come to the point for me to state my opinion of this device in a review. So I asked the person who is to be using it what they thought of it. Turns out they have used it several times and they said that they are actually quite pleased with it. So I have to say that I believe this is a rather decent unit for what it is. I still get a laugh every time I revisit the ad and see the scaled down woman running on it in the photo. I certainly wouldn’t want to be taking long strides on it. No more than a nice vigorous jog. I’m trying to get my girl to learn to try some of the programs in it and see if she finds a routine that she likes and can repeat it as she chooses. So, unless something seriously goes wrong, I will have to say it is quite okay for what it is in my honest opinion. I am not sorry that I bought it.

Best Investment I've Made for My Home Gym
I've owned the NordicTrack T Series treadmill for about eight months now, and I genuinely look forward to using it every single day. Setup & Build Quality Assembly was surprisingly straightforward though I had it delivered and assembled. they had it up and running in under an hour with just the included tools. The frame feels solid and sturdy, with no wobbling or creaking even during intense interval sessions. It folds up easily when not in use Performance The motor is impressively quiet for the power it delivers. I can watch TV or take calls without cranking the volume, which was a dealbreaker with my old treadmill. The belt runs smoothly, and the speed transitions are seamless — no jarring jumps when you adjust pace mid-run. The incline feature is where this machine really shines. Going up to 12% grade has completely transformed my workouts. iFIT Integration The built-in iFIT compatibility is a game-changer. The guided trail runs and studio classes make a 45-minute workout fly by. The instructor-controlled speed and incline adjustments keep me honest and push me harder than I'd push myself. The display is crisp and responsive, with no lag. Comfort The cushioned deck genuinely reduces knee and joint fatigue compared to running outdoors on pavement. After longer runs, I notice a real difference in how my legs feel the next morning. The side rails give me confidence during high-intensity intervals or when I need a quick break. Value For the features you get — motor quality, iFIT, incline range, folding design, and cushioning — the T Series is exceptional value compared to competitors in the same price range. I've had gym memberships that cost more per year than this machine. Bottom Line The NordicTrack T Series has made consistent cardio a realistic part of my routine. No commute, no waiting for machines, no excuses. If you're serious about building a dependable home fitness setup, this treadmill belongs at the top of your list. – Verified Purchase

Died 20 minutes after professional installation. (UPDATED)
I bought this for my mother, it arrived on time. No issues. I paid for the expert installation, which we had no problems. 15 minutes after the technician left, the thing stopped working. Of course I was at work, so when this occurred my mom did not know what to do. She called the tech back and he confirmed he could not figure out why it stopped. Later that evening I stopped by my moms house to see what the story was. Everything seemed to work except the belt. Now I have to call NordicTrack and see when they can send someone out. Amazon, is pretty good about offering solutions as far as returns. I was given 3 options. 1. Call Norditrack 2. Have a local repair person fix it, and they would refund me $120.00 3. Complete refund on both the unit and shipping (I would assume the 3 year maintenance plan). I am giving this 1 star because despite some of the good and bad stories, there should be no reason why this thing should have died. I am hoping I get a quick response tomorrow and we can work from there. I will update as we go along. ***************UPDATE So it was initially decided that the motor was broken on the machine by the technician who was dispatched about a week later. It took about 2 weeks to receive another motor. Add a few days to dispatch another tech at this point we are talking almost a month since the machine has arrived. (I was actually contemplating of just doing a return because it was nearing the time to pay the charge on my credit card.) Back to the story, so the tech shows up, we have the new motor, and an excited mom, I then find out that its not the motor, but the control panel. Again back to square one, another 2 weeks for delivery. Again a couple days to dispatch a technician once the part arrived. Tech arrived installed the new control panel and the machine runs, and hasn't had a problem since. Its been working with no issues for about 2 months now. Mom is happy, but I'm not really sure it was worth it. At this point I can't recommend purchasing this unit through this sales channel. Amazon was perfect but I don't know if it is Norditrack, the warehouse who holds this equipment, XPO who ships this equipment, the tech who installed this equipment... bottom line... a product was purchased for over $700 and it didn't work for almost two months from the day the transaction was completed. We weren't given anything for our troubles. Yes we weren't told "oh well sorry no refunds, all sales are final", we were offered a refund of $120 if we decided to let Norditrack off the hook and go with a local repair person, but there was nothing saying "we are sorry for what happened, the month and a half that was lost will be on us" (the company that failed to delight you as a customer). The only power as a customer is a review, to forewarn others of such an awful experience. I work in the customer service industry, so I know how hard it can be to please customers. In this case, the product offer and the services to support it were abysmal. Sincerely, Sam K.

Great quality treadmill for everyday use
Bought this treadmill for my girlfriend and she loves it. She wanted a treadmill for the house but not one of those small cheap ones or walking pads. This is much bigger. I'm 5'11" and it's a perfect size for me also so I've actually used it too. Anyone with a basic ability to follow instructions can put it together, but recommended to have 2 people to assemble it. It's very heavy and sturdy, even with it fully inclined it doesn't shake. The touchscreen is really nice and tracks all the normal stuff like distance and speed. And of course - cup holders! Yes the brand is pricey but you are getting a really nice product for that price. To me it was totally worth the money, especially for someone who uses it regularly.

Mom of 2 Small kids & it’s a GREAT INVESTMENT Nordic track T Series 6.5S
I purchased this treadmill back in November 2023 and I am extremely happy with this purchase. I did a lot of research (aka read tons of Amazon reviews on this treadmill and a few others) before deciding on this model. After three months of having this treadmill, I feel like I can give a fair review of the treadmill now. ASSEMBLY: The assembly was pretty straightforward, and it only took me and my husband about an hour to put it fully together. We carried this downstairs to our basement and that was honestly the worst part of the setup. I think this would be difficult to put together with just one person because there were pieces that required someone to hold it while the other one screwed in or anchored other pieces. The machine seems very durable and the quality seems top notch. I think that this treadmill is very average in noise I wouldn’t say it’s super quiet, but I wouldn’t say it’s super loud either. I think that the bell is smooth and walking or running on this feels very comfortable. Treadmill features: I really just wanted a simple and straightforward treadmill and that’s what I got. I’m not doing anything crazy either running or walking on it. The incline function is very easy and quick to adjust. The speed function is quick and easy to increase while using. I will say that the heart rate monitor doesn’t work super great on this and to be honest I’ve only been able to get a couple readings from it. I’m not really concerned though because I use my Apple Watch for my workouts which track my heart rate anyways. The screen size didn’t make a difference for me so I opted for the smaller screen. I don’t need anything fancy when I’m working out and listening to music. Pros: -Quick and easy set up can be done in an hour or two with two people. -Great price for highly durable and high-quality treadmill. -Great for a quick workout if you’re a parent and struggle to find time to get to a gym or if you don’t have childcare so you can workout. This has been great having a treadmill at home so I can get in a quick workout while my kids are playing. Having access to a treadmill has allowed me to workout while still being at home with my two small kids. Cons: -Heart rate device doesn’t track heart rate very easily. Very hit or miss. -Pausing your workouts if you pause it too long then you can’t restart where you were. You have to reset the whole workout. That really bothered me. I have a two-year-old and four-year-old and sometimes I have to pause my workout to get them a snack and it makes it harder to jump back into it if I have to reset the whole machine. Overall a great treadmill and I’m super happy I chose this model because it’s just what I needed to get back to working out with two small kids at home.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Treadmill & Amazing Value!
I bought this treadmill during an unbeatable Amazon sale (thank you Amazon!!!) and added the very reasonable Room of Choice delivery plus a 2-year Asurion warranty for peace of mind. For the price, this treadmill is unbeatable. It’s a solid, full-sized treadmill that offers speeds up to 10 MPH (I’ll never get near that top speed 😅) and inclines up to 10%, which is a great way to add intensity to walking workouts. The hydraulic lift is a nice touch that's usually only seen on much higher end models and it makes the treadmill easy to fold up - it’s surprisingly lightweight when lifting the track. I also appreciate the thoughtful design details, like the small hole in the water bottle holder that prevents puddles if your water bottle drips. I can't comment on setup as I paid for the installation - I'm not a handy person but there are Yotube videos showing the installation process for those who are handy. Also, even though there's an ad included in the treadmill box saying to sign up with iFit before turning on the treadmill, I’ve never signed up for iFit and have had zero issues—zero lag time to start my treadmill workout, no unwanted pop-ups. I just press the power button at the front base (the "reset/off" button), hit “start” on the treadmill main panel and I’m good to go. You do not need to sign up for iFit whatsoever -once the treadmill is assembled, you can just turn it on and go. I watch shows on my iPad while walking/jogging, so I wasn't interested in the iFit subscription. Now, are there a couple of things that could improve with the treadmill? Sure - it could use a pause button (there is no pause button - it's either "stop" or "start"), I do wish there was a bit more track space before the front deck starts since in the beginning I did accidentally hit my foot/sneaker on the front deck (I'm used to it now and don't walk/jog as close to the front panel), and it could have other features that higher end treadmills have....but you know what? Then the price would be in a higher tier as well. If you’re looking for a dependable treadmill at a great value, this one is a no-brainer and I'm really happy with it. Finally, a huge shout-out to the Amazon delivery team (Brar and Amrit) who managed to get this treadmill into my basement—a tough job, and they handled it like pros.

Functional for what I needed
I love my new treadmill. Packed very well. I had one other person helping to assemble which I would recommend. It’s true that the screen isn’t backlit but I don’t mind because I don’t use it at night. I find it a bit hard to customize the parameters (for scrolling through) but that’s not a dealbreaker. I think it’s fairly quiet, which was important for me.
