These work as well as the expensive name brand carbide hole saws I have used. far superior to HSS hole saws. I have used them in my drill press and my lathe.

Excellent for cutting holes in sheet metal
I use this hole saw set to cut holes into duct sheet metal for HVAC work. They cut very aggressively, so you need to use two hands on a hand drill, otherwise it will twist your hand. They seem very true and centered while drilling and do not wobble.I have not tried cutting into anything thicker than sheet metal, but they seem very durable and have not dulled after multiple cuts.
