I have been taking fish oil for over a decade now. I have tried several different brands and also taken weeks off of my fish oil regiment to verify how fish oil impacts my body. There are studies that show fish oil doesn't really help your body but my personal experience is completely different. Taking fish oil helps to lubricate my joints and helps reduce pain and inflammation in my body. It works for me.I decided to try this brand based on the the reviews and the relative value of such a large bottle with high potency. I have had excellent results with these. Although most fish oil tablets are "burpless" I still put mine in the freezer to reduce the dreaded fish burps. I have had no fish burps with these. One interesting note is that these do not freeze in the freezer. Other fish oil tablets freeze in the freezer and you can see that they are frozen through the outer layer. These do not freeze but have never burped me. These are a little more expensive than my normal fish oil tablets but these are a very good choice for those who are interested in taking fish oil. Highly recommended.

These fish oil caplets are derived from tuna. My regular brand of fish oil gel caps is a combination of anchovy, mackerel, sardine, and tuna, but it is certified to be 100% free of contaminants and mercury.I wish these gelcaps had that same certification, because tuna can be high in mercury and that is the only source for the fish oil in these caps. If there is such certification, they should provide a link to it either in the advertisement, or on the bottle.It does say that they are manufactured in the USA, kosher, non-GMO, gluten-free, dairy free and soy free.Upon first opening, the bottle does have a slight fishy odor, they have included a lemon scented non-edible disc heart in the bottle to help camouflage this. Fortunately they do not have any sort of fishy taste or aftertaste.So while my experience with these was OK, I will not be switching from my regular brand, since I could see lab tested certifications on the content.

I have always hated taking fish oil because of the burp factor. I am so happy to have found these because they don't taste fishy as you take them, are easy to swallow because it is a gel tab, AND you don't have fishy burps an hour later. No cons I can think of with these.

These are pretty comparable to what you would find at the local pharmacy. They have a slight fish food odor to them inside the bottle but the capsules themselves are gel and very sturdy. I think the stiffness of the gel helps these go down easier than some other brands dispite their large size. No issues with fishy tastes coming back up either.

I’ve always been satisfied with the Zahler products I’ve used in the past, so for me this is just more of the same. Their graphic design isn’t the flashiest, but they’re a US-based company that’s been around for a very long time, and they know what they’re doing. Quality and consistency of ingredients and manufacture are very good for this fish oil, as I’ve come to expect, and they’ve executed the “burpless” part particularly well.The only point of friction is that the price is a bit on the high side, relatively speaking, compared to other fish oil-based omega-3’s. In absolute terms on a per-unit basis it’s still not bad, since my expectation for price is around $1/day for a typical supplement, but I’m not going to pretend that there aren’t more budget-friendly options out there. They’ll just be significantly inferior to this one in some aspect or another, as far as I’m concerned.
