These are OK for most veggie planting but I prefer the heavier ones for potatoes. I plated different things in them last year and none did well but I think that may have been where I placed them. I've used grow bags before and tomatoes, peppers, chard, potatoes all did well but I had them on my deck and it wasn't good for the deck boards. I'm going to use the again this year and fertilize more often.
