I don’t understand the negativity - I got this devotional for myself through desertcart. I’ve read it about every other day. My age is mid 40’s and I have eyeglasses to correct my nearsightedness. This devotional is not quite small enough to be pocket sized. It is the perfect size for a bedside table. The print within isn’t overly small and the spacing between lines is what I would expect in a booklet this size. The font is simple and easy to read. The messages shared in this booklet are easy to understand which makes them accessible for a wide range of readers, but especially the novice devotional reader. I also found this devotional to be helpful and inspiring. Each page begins with a verse with citation of book, chapter and verse number from scripture centered at the top of the page. The featured verse is italicized in a greenish print in order to set it apart from the following text. The body of the daily text often draws from a modern story or common personal and cultural issues and how the scripture verse may be applied in such circumstances. I do not recall anything in particular that suggests any of the devotions were unbiblical in any way. I frequently found that there were devotions that were particularly relevant to something that friends, family or myself was going through. I appreciated them so much that I marked the page so I could easily return to them later. I also read other devotions and attend Bible study led by a minister from my church. I found that this devotional was very much in alignment with the messages delivered in a nondenominational Christian church. I regularly took pictures of a devotional to share it on social media because I believed that there is someone out there that needed to receive that message. I don’t understand the assertion that this devotional is too dogmatic and judgmental. This daily devotional is based in Christian scripture. Scripture is meant to lead people away from sin and the trappings of this world. Because our eternal life is at stake, scripture does not sugar coat the evils of sin. Scripture calls us to abhor sin, but love the sinner. If spiritual growth and guidance away from sin are offensive, you may not care for this devotional. Review: Perfect Gift - I bought this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift & he loves it. He looks forward to reading it everyday!

Perfect little extra gift for the devout men in your life
My father is a devout Methodist. He loved this little gift of devotions for men. Would be perfect for Father's Day too! If he's happy, I'm happy 😊

Cute but small
It is really cute, but I must not have read the description carefully. It is a lot smaller than anticipated.

Perfect!
It's very small, can be kept in a back pocket, and creates a good moment with God for the guy who hates reading, "doing devotions," or has a very short attention span. It is completely unintimidating. A great bathroom read for the guy who just "doesn't have time" to study God's Word. No more excuses! Lol

Bf loved it
I got this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loved it. Super great little scriptures and he’s said it’s helped him in his day to day life after he reads one every morning. It’s a small little book that’s very handy and cute on the nightstand.

Powerful , practical and spiritually grounding
This devotional is exactly what every man needs in today’s fast-paced and demanding world. Each entry is short enough to read daily, but packed with wisdom, Scripture, and practical insights that challenge and encourage growth in faith, character, and leadership. What I appreciate most is how real and relatable the content is—it speaks directly to the heart of a man navigating work, family, and faith. It doesn’t just inspire, it equips.
