Perfect boot for the right foot
I read some reviews where people were complaining that they could barely get this boot on because the ankle area was so small. They looked so comfortable I decided to give them a shot and am really glad I did! I have big feet---size 11---but it is almost solely because the front part of my foot is wide and huge. Generally if a shoe fits the front of my foot, the heel is uncomfortably sloppy, but not this one. I can see where people with larger ankles might find it difficult to get them on, but they are great for me, and there is plenty of room to wiggle my toes. I saw one woman with feet my size thought they made her feet look bigger, but I think just the opposite, maybe because what I usually wear is Ugg boots and they are a little bigger because of the shearling lining. Anyway, I find these boots flattering, and so superbly comfortable I don't want to wear anything else!

Yes. I DO love it.
The reviews for this boot were so opposite in perspective that I waited a long while to try it. However I really needed a black ankle boot for work so I decided to try it. It is narrow through the ankle and calf but that was not a problem for me. I have a wide forefoot so what some people thought looked unfashionable was a perfect fit for me. The leather which felt hard for some reviewers softened up for me quickly. The other surprise was that the wobbleboard on this boot felt even better than the Mukluk. I am delighted to have what I think is a nice pant boot that is also comfortable when standing for long periods.

Unattractive in big sizes.
While these may be adorable in a size 6, in my size (11) I looked like I was preparing to go on a moon walk so they had to go back. They were awfully comfortable, though.

Fit Flop makes the best shoes.
I have very high arches, and Fit Flop gives me the all-day comfortable support that I prefer. Be warned - these shoes take time to adjust to. Once you do there's no going back.

runs wide
I wear a 10 1/2 AA but they dont come in half sizes. They are warm and fairly comfortable but they run wide.

Comfortable, but hard to wear, and prepare to be hot in them...
I ordered and received these boots this Saturday(11/10/12). I was so glad they came in good time. I have terrible pain in my right foot and the foot dr. has asked me to wear the big-fat boot (quite a huge inconvenience). Since I can't drive with the big boot, I needed shoes that can still give me ample support so I don't have to wear that boot all the time. These boots have the support, you can feel the layers of good support when you walk in them. I'd love to give them five stars but I can't. I wore them Sat, Sun and Monday -- every time I wear them (even with the zipper, they are pretty rough getting in). I'm not old, I'm only 30 and I do not have arthritis or anything crazy to make it difficult to get in these boots. If you know you might have issues with your hands, you may need to reconsider buying these boots. Secondly, these boots get mighty hot. So if you think you might have some issues with getting too warm, this is probably not the shoe for you. I do have to say though that they are still much better than the FitFlops I'm wearing today (The Superboot). Tried wearing these for 20min. this morning. The right foot gets in just fine, but had to fight with the left foot and just as I was deciding to ship back, my foot finally went in. Are these Fitflops not made the same size?! Uggghh! I have them on at work, got too warm, had to take them off and now I can't get the left boot back in. I hope I'm able to get it back on before it's time to leave at 4pm. I am usually a size 7 1/2 but had to order the 8. The boot has plenty of room in the front of the shoe, just toooo narrow where the actual foot goes in. What the heck?My take--the person who designed this SHOULD have done more "trial studies" for the audience of these boots". I wanted to give the boots a chance (inspite the reviews that said it was hard to wear). These are SUCH nice boots/TOOO expensive to have such an issue in my opinion. I wanted to like them, but sadly -- I'm sending them back.

Feel amazing
I am already a fan of FitFlop flipflops, but wanted to extend the experience into winter. These boots are stylish and funky, they go well with jeans, leggings and even skirts. They were slightly too large which may have been my fault when converting shoe sizes, but not enough that I can't wear them with a lambswool insole inside to correct the size. As with my other FitFlops, they make me feel as if I am standing straighter and full of energy. They do wonders for my back. Love them.

looks cheap
To date I've ordered 4 Flip-Flop boots from Amazon. 3 of them were wonderful...but I ended up returning this pair! The leather & stitching looked cheap...or at least not worth $170+ dollars! I will admit, ther WERE very comfortable...but the appearance didn't warrant the price tag.
