Red Rock Gear Youth Ghillie Suit

Love this! I was concerned about the fit after reading some of the reviews but it fit just right. My grandson just turned 7 but he is 56 inches tall and 102 lbs and it fit him just right. He wears a xlarge in basketball shorts and xl in tank top to give you some perspective. He has some room to grow as far as the length goes but there is elastic at the ankle so the pants don't drag. Yes there is some fluffing to do and combing through but that is to be expected. It also comes in a cool bag that my grandson thought was a sleeping bag from the way it was packaged. We love it and would definitely recommend this product. Also my son in law likes it and wants one for himself.

Great as a Halloween costume! Ordered this for my 11 year old son for his Halloween costume and it was perfect! The sizing was perfect and it’s good quality. Since there’s tons of strings, we’ve had many come off. My son is always hot and this is not a heavy costume. There’s 3 pieces for ease of use - shirt, pants and headpiece. It looks great and everybody loved his costume. A few times he blended in with the trees and grass so much, you couldn’t see him, lol. Only problem was our dog wanted to chew on him!

My 12-year old son paid for half of this and I paid the other half. He wanted to wear it for Halloween and surprise trick-or-treaters. (He only startled the big kids and adults, ha ha.) He really did look like a bush. I ordered the size 14-16 on purpose knowing it would be big on him (he's a small 12-year old), but we wanted him to be able to use it for a long time. He could wear it no problem, and my husband (5'6") also could fit in it, though it was a little tight on him with his big muscles and all. My 10-year old son was so envious that he also gave me half of the price and I bought him one too. They both really love wearing them! My older son just wore it paintballing as well. These are great! Made a great halloween costume, but would also be great for hunting. Great warmth. The durability is not the best though, as it sheds a lot. The thickness is good except around the head.

Awesome ghillie for a kid. Comes with a carry bag as well. After some use, these are absolutely worth a FIVE STAR RATING. These suits are well made, easy to put on, easy to adjust, look great, with a well designed head cover with a no see um screen covering the eyes, very easy to see out of, but no bugs, a very cool design. All that with a carry bag and a rifle cover. Win win

This is great! My kids loved them. I haven’t washed them yet and I’m scared to. I told my boys to try not to get them muddy. Some of the strings are already shedding; it should probably be hand washed to keep as much of the string on as possible. My kids are almost 6 & 8. They are average height and skinny, 40 lbs and 50 lbs. The 6 year old wears size 5 slim jeans and the 8 year old wears size 7 slim jeans. I got them both the youth size 10-12 and it fits well enough. The pants have a drawstring. They have plenty of room to grow so these should last a few years if they don’t destroy them. They love them so much and it’s hilarious to watch them sneaking around the yard like little weirdos. Excellent customer service and a great company that I highly recommend!

My son is obsessed with the military and war history. He loves snipers and wanted to be one for halloween. I looked for a ghillie suit costume but costumes didn't look near as good as the real thing. I just decided to get a real one instead of a costume. My son loved it and got tons of compliments on halloween. Mostly from grown men who recognized what he was actually wearing! :) I highly recommend. just be aware that some of the strings do come off and you will probably find some of them around your house.

Young son loves it. He wore it for hours on the first day. Only time will tell if the material holds up to an active 10-year-old (I have my doubts); nevertheless, it's what he wanted, the price was perfect, shipping was great, the box/package was ample, and the young man is happy. I think that's enough. Time will tell about the durability but I have the coolest "USMC/Sniper/Stealth-Ninja" on the block. Worth every penny!

Love the ghillie suit. Only complaint would be the sizing. I bought the size for a 14-16 year old, thinking I could make it work for my 8 year old and he could get several years of enjoyment out of this. It fits him perfectly at 8. It should last another year or two max; but he definitely won't be wearing this at 14. My kid wears between a Size 8 and 10 pant at Children place, and this suit was the perfect fit.
