Double stack

TOO SMALL if your are stacking it
Like the concept, but it is way TOO SMALL. When stacked directly on top of each other, the opening is only 1.5" tall. When offset, it is only 3". Never going to get anything in there and out of it unless you are a 5 year old and material is flat.If you are going to use them not stacked, then it serves its purpose.BUT, the design is good. So, I have copied it, but made it taller. Instead of each one being 4" tall, I made a prototype out of some scrap 1/2" bookshelves that is 8" tall. Kept everything else the same. Next step is to buy some decent wood and make a "pretty" one and I can stain it. 2'x4' piece of wood is about $20 and you could make two units that are 8" tall.

Not great for stacking
These are a pain in the neck to assemble. If you want to stack them, this only will work if you have child-sized hands to reach in between, and even then, larger onions and potatoes won’t fit well.

Beautiful and sturdy.
Easy to assemble. Holds a lot of weight. Using it to hold leather working tools including hammers and metal punches. Very nice baskets.
