I got two of the 36 inch high gates for my foster dog. 60 pound sheppard puppy. I plan to use them again with my next dog.Pros* solid, the gate held up to my sheppard dog standing up with his front paws on it* tall height, see large dog* easy to install* door opens in or out* attractive style, it didn't feel like my house was taken over by bulky gatesThings to note* the door can be finicky to close, one gate worked perfectly while the other needed a little more attention when closing to latch on top and bottom* you'll need to tie the gate closed when uninstalling or it opens up and makes it hard to install again, a strong velcro loop may hold the spring of the door shut

Easy to install. Super strong. Good height. Easy open. Self-closure feature is very cool. Attractive. Looks like it belongs in the doorway rather than looking like a clunky afterthought.

Just installed this gate today, already had a cheaper gate that was a hand-me-down. This gate was rather expensive compared to the entry level options but I immediately see why. I purchased is because of its height, 90 degree detents and ability to swing inwards or outwards. I can leave it open when I want and it stays that way. My old gate only swings one way, and it has a button on both sides of the latch, but only one side is a button that's hard to press and the other side is fake. I had disassembled it thinking one side was broken but found out it was just cosmetic. This model has a latch button top and bottom that you must press simultaneously and they're both very easy to press and hold.This gate is very easy to install and comes with width extenders. A standard width doorway shouldn't need those. It even comes with attachments to put it between circular columns. It's much sturdier than my cheaper gate and the lock mechanism locks both at the latch and at the base. The gaps in the posts are small so cats can't squeeze between them. The only downside I can think of is if you wanted this to keep dogs or toddlers out but allow cats through. I think I saw an option for a little integrated cat door but I can't remember for this brand.Overall I'm glad I didn't buy another cheapo gate, this one is much nicer and thankfully worth the price. With coupon from Amazon I spent about $75. I might end up buying another to replace the other cheap gate I've been using.

We birth this to separate our dog and kitten. The kitten can get through the side which is great. The dog is blocked. It was easy to install and has different widths which is nice. It’s very sturdy with a latch so you can easily go in and out. One feature we love is the spring loaded door so once it’s open it stays open. Very nice feature. We would repurchase this gate without hesitation.

So I was drawn to buy this gate because I needed something to not only keep my child out of the kitchen but my dogs too. It comes with everything stated and wasn't hard to install. However, it may because my husband put it on super tight but it doesn't click close by itself. It's still a great gate regardless and matches our kitchen them of dark colors. It's very sturdy even with dogs trying to jump on it like it doesn't even budge from the wall! I definitely recommend this for all parents and even pet owners.For cat owners: it's not really the best for them to get over they do struggle so I would suggest having a cat tree or something nearby to help them.. but this could be because my cats are 3 and 8 years old.Excuse the flooring in the photo we are remodeling our home from water damage <3

The gate is sturdy and easy to install. It was purchased to block access to a hallway and fit the wide opening well. The latch is easy to operate with one hand. The gate swings in both directions, making it convenient to open from either direction. You can leave it open or allow it to swing shut automatically. The pressure bolts enable the gate to be easily relocated without damaging the walls.

This gate is fantastic! Strong and sturdy, easy to install, classy look. Love the one hand operation - open 90 degrees and it stays open, open less than 90 degrees and it auto shuts. Door swings in both directions. Price is excellent for the quality.

I started with just one of these baby gates. We needed an extra tall one with our our railing system works on our stairs. We were very happy with how it worked, how nice it looked and how easily it opens and closes. We ended up buying a second for our laundry room/dog food area. About to buy a third for the top of our stairs as well!

We bought this as a baby gate for our grandson and it is sturdy, easy to put together and looks great! A bit more than other gates but you get what you pay for. Very pleased with this purchase!
