Using this on a Nikon Z8 with a Sony 200-600 lens. The adapter came with the software updated already, but you can not find this out until after you connect it to the camera. It was recommended from someone to connect the adapter to the camera first and then put the lens on which is what I did. Went on without any issues, and functions perfectly. I am very happy with the results. The auto focus, and F stops recognized by the camera and the pictures came out clear. Saved money to not have to buy a new lens

I have been shooting with Sony for many years, coming from Nikon D610. I changed to Sony but I always missed that natural look of Nikon, I love the vintage look of the Zf and purchased this adapter based on customer experiences. This adapter works great, focus is almost as native, if you have fast AF lenses, they will remain fast, slow AF lenses will reman slow. I am able to use all my lenses for Sony. I use Sony 20-70 f/4 G, 90mm G macro, 200-600G, Viltrox 16mm 1.8 works as it were mounted in my A7IV, Tamron 70-180 G1 is a slow lens in low light and it remains the same wit the adaptaer.I save a lot of money and I do not requiere to purchased the same focals for Nikon and can use both systems.

This works pretty flawlessly on both my ZF and Z8. AF is snappy, even does the bird focus on my z8. Loving it so far. Shipped with firmware 1.37. Couldn’t be happier.

Unsuable. Nikon Z8 + Sony 28-20 f2 gives front focus 2/3 times.

It works!No need to change glass.I've purchased a Zf and using my sony and tamron lenses.The thinness of the adapter helps in no change from lens feeling and operation.

Okay it works but it does hunt on AF. The machining finishes needs a little bit more … it does feel notchy to install and deinstall from the camera mount. Not smooth to disconnect the lens from it.

Love the versatility, being able to share lenses between cameras, or broaden your selection when buying more for Nikon Z. Super thin. I'd like to see the digits come down a little in the damage department, but other than that, it's a Win 👍

I was skeptical that it would work as advertised. I was totally wrong. I have used the unit on my Nikon z8 and z6II. It allowed me to use my Sony lens perfectly on the Nikons. It even worked perfectly with my Sigma lens on my Nikon including the new 70-200. It’s very easy to update the firmaware. The picture showed it with a usb cable but they have upgraded the unit and it updates through the camera update option. Would definite purchase again without hesitation.
