I've been using the **Dash Rapid Egg Cooker** for a while now, and it has become one of my favorite small kitchen appliances. I purchased this one after remodeling my kitchen and gifted my first one to my granddaughter who also loves it. I enjoy eggs for breakfast but don't always have time to watch a pot on the stove, this cooker has made mornings much easier. The biggest advantage is how simple it is to use, just add the recommended amount of water, place the eggs in the tray, and press the start button. Whether I want soft-, medium-, or hard-boiled eggs, the results are consistently reliable. The included measuring cup makes the process nearly foolproof, so little effort is required and eggs come out tender and evenly cooked. Another thing I appreciate is the speed. It cooks eggs faster than traditional boiling methods and automatically shuts off when finished, so I don't have to keep checking on them. Cleanup is also quick since the removable trays are easy to wash. I use a "magic eraser" to clean the mineral deposits left on the heating surface from our hard water. Bought this about two years ago because the egg-timer I had that actually sits in the boiling water with the eggs wasn't working as consistently as I had hoped. I saw this Dash Rapid egg Cooker and decided to give it a try. Love it! Mostly the eggs are cooked to satisfactory doneness, although occasionally a smidge under (but not grossly) or a tad over, but definitely cooked and edible. I found that using the 4+ level on the measuring cup for 6 eggs and filling it to just above that mark is enough water to cook the eggs to the required doneness. I've used the omelet feature a couple of times and it's okay, but mainly I use the DASH Rapid Egg Cooker for making hard-boiled eggs. My husband loves hard-boiled eggs so this was a great way to make sure he had his weekly quota. I would recommend this product! I've read other reviews where the purchaser said there's no way to store the trays and other paraphernalia, which is not exactly true. The trays (there are three; one for boiled eggs, one for scrambled, and a split tray for maybe omelets) fit conveniently inside the unit, with the stem and measuring/poking cup nestled in the split tray. I've not had any issues with them not fitting. And there is just one way to use the stem (I rarely use it, though) and it fits just one way, too. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out (and I am not a rocket scientist!). If I can figure it out, anyone else can, too. :-D Also, the poker under the measuring cup does well enough, although I will say it requires a bit of steady pressure to poke a hole in the top of the egg. This is necessary to allow the air inside to escape; otherwise your egg will explode! A trick I did to enhance peeling is to (very) gently rap the top of the egg with the back of a spoon to release the membrane inside. When you hear a snap, you've succeeded. It sounds like the egg cracked but it's only the membrane inside that's making the noise. After boiling, the egg shell should peel easily off. The DASH Rapid Egg Cooker does smell a bit at the end of cooking, but it helps if – after every use - you gently clean the heating surface (after it cools) with a wet paper towel, drying it thoroughly before putting it away. However, it will still develop a color, so its one flaw is that it does not clean up easily. Also, the tray with the six 'seats' for the eggs also gets somewhat dirty over time, so a good rinse is all you need to do after each use. The DASH Rapid Egg Cooker does not have an auto-shutoff feature, but it will let you know when it's done by playing a sweet little tune. It is loud and for good reason; you want to be able to hear it. You do not want this unit to continue cooking, so I appreciate the tone level a lot. That said, the company could probably improve this product by installing a shut-off. The only downside is if you rely on that rather than the end of cycle tune, your eggs might be more done than you want. For those of you who are sensitive to loud sounds, I would give consideration to other ways of boiling eggs. The drop-in silicone egg timer (the one that boils with the eggs) is a good solution, as long as you keep an eye on the color changes. I just had a tough time doing that so that's why I chose DASH Rapid Egg Cooker for boiling my eggs. Overall, I really like my Dash Rapid egg Cooker. It has simplified a task that for years had plagued me with overdone or underdone boiled eggs. Now I can with confidence supply my husband with his favorite breakfast treat! Four stars for satisfaction, one minus star for the unit not having a shut-off feature.

What a great small gadget. My family members were my testers and I made Jammy, soft-boiled, hard-boiled eggs and a broccoli cheese omelette. The Jammy eggs were a huge hit as my family really likes them with Japanese and Korean dishes. Soft-boiled eggs had the top shell removed and the eggs were a perfect consistency. Added butter, salt and white pepper and they were just like how my father used to make them for me. The hard-boiled eggs were easy to peel and the yolks were bright yellow without any green or grey. Eggs salad and deviled eggs were perfect. I like my omelette well done so I left it covered and it cooked to perfection. Would make a tasty breakfast sandwich at the well done cooking time. Great for a busy am when you want an egg but don’t want to deal with having to babysit the pan! There is a musical like alarm. I liked the combo water measuring device that holds an egg piercer on the opposite end, No eggs cracked! Easy to clean and store and I give this two thumbs aloft!

Wow what a great little tool. It's small and easy to store, and makes 7 hard boiled eggs in just no time and the shells really do come right off (I put them in ice water right after cooking them), the poached eggs turn out great (keep under the doom for a bit depending on how runny you want them to be) and scrambled eggs are no fuss no muss. I love this little thing and am so glad I got it. It would make a great gift.

This egg cooker works FAST. The included water measure guide is right on for the hard boiling of eggs. It steams the eggs so the top of it gets very hot, as the bottom of the device is where the heat is generated. I've cooked as few as one egg or up to four. This little cooker delivers just right hard boiled eggs and the shells are a breeze to remove. I ordered a separate egg punch b/c I didn't like the one which came with this cooker. Poking a tiny hole in the fat bottom of the egg is a critical step for success. When not in use, this egg cooker takes up little storage space. This is great for someone who has not mastered the secrets of hard boiled eggs.

Le puse toda la medida de agua y fueron aproximadamente 10 minutos en que estuvieron listos .lo compré en rojo para que combinara con mi cocina y me encantó

Does not have "Auto Shutoff" feature. Just beeps like the rest of them. I was hoping it would turn itself off once eggs were cooked. NOPE just beeps and keeps cooking.
