Brod & Taylor Pour Over Coffee Dripper

Have wanted to find a replacement for my plastic drip coffee pour-over filter holder (dripper). I bought a ceramic one a few months ago. Waste of money. It is way too heavy, top heavy and the coffee dripped too fast making a weak cup. I am donating it to the local retail shop--maybe someone can use it as a planter. Wanted to find a stainless steel item but the only ones I could find were filterless. I do not want to deal with cleaning a filterless dripper every time I make a cup of coffee. Finally found this one. It is stainless steel and uses a number-2 filter. Perfect. And after a week using the dripper every day, it works great. The coffee drips slowly enough to impart a nice, robust cup! There are six holes in the stainless steel filter (three smaller and three a little larger) which allow an even and consistent drip when preparing a cup. There is a ribbed plastic sleeve surrounding the stainless steel filter so that the heat does not burn your fingers (great idea). This stainless steel dripper is easily removed from the sleeve for cleaning when necessary. It is also lightweight. And, bonus, it's a small company product.

Omg this is so perfect. I love how fast this makes coffee. And I can use any coffee I want.

This thing is awesome. The exterior has enough grip to not slide around, but smooth enough on the bottom that you can move slightly to adjust (because I use mine on a French press glass pitcher without the press part). Like that it has vertical ridges on the outside piece so it won't slip from your hand, and the stainless steel interior is substantial and solid. Comes apart as described for easy cleaning; hand rinse and/or wash mine and let dry separately. And the #2 Melitta filters fit perfectly. One of the few purchases in years that feels like it was worth the money! If you're considering getting one, you'll be glad you did.

Works very well. quite happy with this purchase! I will not break it like my previous glass pour over.

I wanted like this but I tasted a metallic taste in each brew compared to porcelain brewer I use.

This is the most versatile pour over coffee filter I have used. While I purchased it for the stainless steal filter it also provides other great features such as the base that fits most common mugs and tumblers so it drains right into you cup without having to pour from one device to another. The pieces come apart easily for cleaning. Number 2 size filter fits perfectly.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer this summer. In an effort to try and eliminate as many toxins in my life I knew I had to find something to replace my regular plastic Hamilton Beach coffee brewer. After lots of research I came across this product. I loved that it is stainless steel, easy to clean and you can set it on top of different containers depending on how much coffee you are making. I’ve had this product for almost three months. We use it everyday and it looks good as new. I watched their instructional video on how to prepare coffee and I have had no issues. I also bought a stainless steel French press that holds up to 34oz of coffee and allows you to remove the filters so it functions as a pitcher to hold the coffee I make and keeps it warm. I can also place this on a mug and make a single cup of coffee. I do measure out my whole coffee beans using a scale, grind them every morning and use a gooseneck kettle to heat my water. It does take a little more work and time to make coffee, but one thing I’ve learned is that if you want to lower toxins in your life, you may have to give up fast convenience..one of those being drip machine coffee. However, it’s been worth it. My coffee tastes great and no more plastic taste. I also switched to coffee that’s been tested for mold and toxins. I definitely recommend this product!
