Comprehensive Overview
Good book on getting foundation concepts. It’s the best of several dummies books all in one without spending hundreds of dollars.

Comprehensive Review
It's a good mix of tools and theory, especially modern tools such as Power BI and Tableau. A worthwhile all-in-one purchase.

Not sure if it’s trustworthy
I’m reading this book to get an overview of some areas I’m not already familiar with. But I’m losing confidence that the book is accurate as I see problems and inaccuracies as I read sections on areas in which I’ve worked for many years. For instance, page 65 offers an example relational database design that I would consider a poor design (specifically the separate Genre table). Another example problem is in their data visualization advice, where they recommend using the visualization that is the most dramatic, even though that can result in misleading visualizations. An example of that is on the top of page 104, where they recommend a visualization that makes the difference between 1% and 3% look huge instead of showing bar charts that show the 1 and 3% in the context of the full 100% range, so viewers can get the idea that they are a relatively rare phenomenon. I’m not sure how much I can trust the things I read about areas new to me.

This book was purchased as a guide to starting a learning in Data Analytics. Definitely worth the money and Dummies guides are just so easy to understand to breaking it down.
