I'm a professional landscaper, and used to spend quite a lot of money hiring concrete breakers, until I read the reviews of this one. I figured it would soon pay for itself even if it wasn't the best tool, so I went ahead and got one. That was seven years ago and it has been absolutely superb for the money, I must have used it for hundreds of hours, breaking up paving and digging through concrete and stone, almost every week it gets some use. I'm writing this review now because I have a big fencing job coming up and checked the breaker over as it will be used for the post holes in rocky ground. The only thing I could find was that the carbon brushes are quite worn down from all the use, but it's no bother as I've just ordered new ones from Amazon for a fiver delivered, and they're simple to fit. Other than that, the grippy rubber has finally come off the handle, but it doesn't affect anything (and you should be wearing gloves anyway) and that's it. The breaker comes with a quality chisel tool and a pointed tool, which both are hard-wearing, but if you keep them nice and sharp the breaker will not have to work so hard. I simply sharpen them with an angle grinder and metal grinding disc every so often.So this has been a great buy, and has paid for itself many times over. What more could you want?
