These are awesome for those paint with water books from the dollar store. They also work well as reusable pens for the M&D water wows! Great value for their price and how many pens you get. Love them and will be purchasing more! Brush quality is good, and they hold water without leaking.

These will be easier to use than my previous water brushes. Easier to squeeze and more control over how much water comes out. Wish there were flats in the set. The brushes are all rounds. Some reviews say these brushes are difficult to unscrew. To unscrew go clockwise not too hard or you will break the brush. To screw bottom part back on go counter clockwise.

Love these watercolor pens, I have made elaborate watercolor paintings with these, and I have also used one with white gel food coloring and water to map out some designs on sugar cookie decorations. Love love love these, especially that they come with many empty pens. The cleaning is not bad at all, just run them through water to get most of the color/dye out, and then let them soak in the sink in a cup or a bowl. Rinse again and they're good as new!

Every watercolor artist on YouTube is talking about these watercolor brush pens. So, of course, I had to try them. They’re spectacular for doing washes. Mind you, I’m working on 8x11” and 9x12” canvases, and these brushes can apply a wash fairly quickly. They also hold enough water to get the job done with one simple refill. Mind you, the brush heads screw on and off backwards, righty tighty most definitely does not work for them, more lefty is righty, righty becomes lefty etc etc. but other than that little oddity, these things function perfectly. Fill them with colored water and wash away. I also use them to “activate” my paint in the half pans. I no longer spray, then have to sop up the overspray! That alone is worth the price of admission. Speaking of price, less than a buck a piece, you can’t beat that price with a stick! Thanks again Amazon, at the rate I’m buying art supplies, I’m gonna have to take a second mortgage on the house but you got me covered!

The brushes are easy to squeeze, easy to clean and so far the bristles are holding up. The one problem is that you must be very careful as the flow of water is heavy and it will leak from the bristles . Be shure to wipe off some of the water after dipping into your desired paint or wash to avoid problems.

Used these for a flight to keep the kids entertained with minimal screens. I used those books that have their own watercolor palette attached. This kept it more clean for the plane and the kids enjoyed using them. Hardest part was I didn't have any water (TSA) so we had to fill them in the plane bathroom but it all worked out.

These are great little brushes. I teach art classes from ages 6 all the way up to retired people. I take this set of brushes with me to all my watercolor classes and everyone loves them. In fact I have sent so many people over to this product on Amazon so that they can purchase as set for themselves that one would think I was the salesman for these brushes. I also use them for my own artwork. I keep a set prefilled and ready to go in my studio at all times.
