Morrisons Cake Shop Custard Doughnuts 5 Pack

I honestly think Morrison's make the best budget donut. They don't feel greasy and the price and stayed pretty low even when other have increased by quite a bit. I love the taste of the custard ones and I don't think I'm alone, as even when I buy them in person they sell out quite quickly.

We were spoilt the first time we ordered these. They were perfect in size, shape, smell & aesthetically the most delightful on the eye. OMG the first bite was unreal. It was like biting into the softest doughnut I've ever had. That first bite is followed by the most wonderful aroma of the sweet, vanilla custard & the combination of the doughnut & custard is just a sheer delight on the taste buds. Not only that, the last bite leaves you disappointed that it's about to end but then, you think...one more can't hurt...can it? These perfectly, doughy pillows of custardly delightfulness are up there with the best BUT, if you are unexpectedly sent stale ones then scrap the above because they aren't like that at all, sadly. It get these freshly made is the key here.

Hit and miss, sometimes the filling exists and sometimes not.

Tasty. Nice custard filling. Don't feel fatty or greasy. Good treat.
