Silver Nitrate Caustic Sticks 6" 10/ps

I groom my dogs, and I love these sticks so much I would not be without them. If I accidentally quick my dog’s nail, one quick touch with this stick, and the blood stops. Unlike the gross yellow powder that is messy, this is easy, quick, and no mess.

These silver nitrate q-tips worked wonderfully on the nodules around my colostomy. They dried up almost instantly. I had to be careful to not get the product. On the actual stoma. The length and diameter of the q-tip made this easier. You might unavoidably get some on your skin which will turn the skin black. This is harmless. The black will go away in about a week.

I am on 2 blood thinners and the best method to cut minor bleeding is the silver nitrate stick. Time from order to delivery was very fast.

These were fresh and effective. Be sure to moisten with distilled water before using - many don’t know to do this, and it’s important to activate the compound before using it.

No instructions. Had to google how to activate with distilled water. Would recommend applying Vaseline around the treatment area BEFORE applying stick to prevent surrounding skin from burning. Neutralize the silver nitrate with saline solution if spreads beyond intended area. Apply sticks gradually to prevent burning. It may appear that it is not working. Be patient during application.

These applicators are lousy with scant, if any, silver nitrate. They were a complete waste of money.
