This Sterling Silver Pearl Necklace Gifts for Mom To Be is really pretty, but the chain - not so much! I really like the pendant itself. The pearl is really lovely. This is a really classy, elegant piece, and it comes in a nice box that makes it perfect for gifting for any occasion. However, I would definitely change out the chain. The chain that it comes with looks and feels cheap, and it doesn't do anything to class this pendant up. It looks and feels like a chain that you would expect to get with a brass plated pendant, but this is supposedly gold plated and hypoallergenic. All I can say is that I am sensitive to cheap metals, and this chain does not feel like it's hypoallergenic - it irritated my neck within a couple of hours of wearing it, and I had to take it off. Luckily I had another chain that I could use that is perfect for this pendant, so I still love it. It's not the pendant - just the chain. But unfortunately, that's half of the gift...

This is a really nice little necklace for a new momma to be. This would make a perfect baby shower gift from mom to daughter (momma to be). It comes in such a nice box with a little gift bag, card and a cloth to polish the necklace. Really nice and compact. The necklace stays in place in the box which is nice considering most are just thrown in and get knotted really easy. It’s a simple, delicate pearl on a thin silver chain. I don’t know how long the chain would last being worn every day but i think it’s a nice touch for a new momma. I took a star away because the chain is really small and thin and might break easy.

This is super cute, and a nice little trinket to give to your children, when expecting a child. Quality is on par with the cost, so maybe not something that will become an heirloom someday, but it definitely is great for conveying that feeling of support and love for your soon-to-be parents.
