This box is great for storing tiny electronic components for microsoldering.I store mostly 0402 and 0603 sized parts in the smaller compartments. For 0402 components that come on a strip, I cut them in groups of 8. For 0603 components, I cut them in groups of 4. That may give you an idea of just how small this box's compartments are. The larger top compartments are good for storing larger parts like coin cell battery holders, through-hole LEDs, and various connectors (e.g. JST PH).Pros: My favorite thing about this box is that each compartment snaps shut tightly. Parts stay in their own compartments, letting you store the box upright if you so choose. Nothing falls out. The hinges also seem to be high-quality and last a long time. Lots of compartments in a small space -- the footprint of this box is smaller than a standard letter!Cons: The branding on the outside of the box is unattractive. I don't mind a small logo but I didn't care for "BOX-ALL" in a large font face with the maker's URL. I covered them up with stickers. Also, the gray boxes are not rated as ESD-safe (the black ones are).If I need another component box in the future, I will look at this maker's products again, maybe the 42-compartment box (24x2).

The media could not be loaded. Great for storing tiny beads. Before I found this, I had so many small containers that took up so much space. It’s easy to open and the closure is strong. It’s great for taking your beads on the go and it has three different size spaces inside.

It is as advertised. Near little box. Lists of compartments. I should have looked at the comments though. Even though it has dimensions in the picture, I did not pay enough attention and thought it would be like 3 times bigger. The whole thing is so small, you can not put resisters inside any compartment without bending the legs in half. Again, not their fault, mine but for scale. I added my hand in this picture. One more thing, the little compartments sometimes require a little too much force to open. PS: can’t seam to attach an image anymore. Imagine a hand covering the entire compartment surface on one side.

Great product

As some people have commented, the case is a bit more compact than they pictured in their head, but this is not a negative. The compartments are securely sealed with a latched door, so that even tiny components can't fall out. The latch for the case is secure too. I am using this to organize small surface mount components and it is nice that they won't inadvertently fall out or mix up.The unit lays flat when opened. It is an excellent way of storing small parts. Unlike the more typical "divider" boxes, each compartment is fixed, so components can't slip between compartments. This is one of the best solutions I have run across to organize a large variety of tiny parts.

I emptied several "tackle boxes" of surface mount parts into this, It takes 1/10 of the room and is WAY more portable. Works great for lots of small components.

Amazing box, has tiny individual compartments of different sizes, works perfect for RC parts ,screws, washers etc etc

I love the box for storing small smd chips and hdmi ports. Compartments close securely. Only downfall is i did not get the labels for the compartment doors so no way to mark what i have in each one.
