So well written and needed! I love the tangible takeaways and the insight.You don’t have to be A wellness worker or a caregiver to benefit from reading this book. I am so glad I read this book and I still need to do a lot of the prompts, but it gave me a lot of really positive insights and ways to think about life. I think we’ve all experienced trauma in our life that is shaped who we are but, that mindset is really impactful so thank you for creating this book. I’ve really enjoyed it and I recommended all my friends.

Joshua permeates a Safe Space + Insight + Compassion to BE our best authentic self
A wonderful useful read that's inspiring, practical, and healing! Blending sciences and humanities, Joshua speaks in a way that we feel safe & comfortable in our own authentic skin AND able to be the person we're truly meant to (and want to) be. His calm welcoming presence is much needed in our world. I highly recommend both this book and talks he gave to the thousands he taught while leading IIN (Institute for Integrative Nutrition).

Easy-to-understand ways on how to master self-care and avoid burnout.
I got this book because I am in the service industry and I am a mom and I am an empath. All these things are great, but when you feel overwhelmed, you sometimes think everyone must feel like this, or this is just how life is. Not true. When you read this book, you see that you don't have to suffer from burnout. What this world needs is people to be honest about their struggles, find like-minded people you feel safe to share these feelings with, and to gain a set of empowering tools and solutions to guide you back to a place of balance. It's written in an easy-to-understand, heartfelt language that isn't esoteric. It's for everyone who is experiencing burnout, anxiety, depression and hasn't mastered the art of setting healthy boundaries yet or just needs a little refresher on self-care. This book teaches you how, so you feel alive in mind and body to feel more joy and fulfillment in life.

Healing begins when you open the book!
Joshua asks the right questions to get to the heart of my issues. Each question stopped me and I couldn't help but write about my experiences and what it will take to heal my overwhelm, blocks, frustration, and all the emotions I am feeling. (Each question allowed me to see the spiral I am on and explains why I am so burned out.) Comparing my "then" and "now" was a punch in my gut and helped me realize how I need to make changes to bring that happiness into my "now".This is a book you want to take your time with. Have a notebook by your side and really think about the questions Joshua asks. The healing begins once you open the book!!

A much needed resource for all health professionals!
Without exception any Health Provider will find a wealth of resources in " Heal the Healer." It's a step by step walk through many of the day to day challenges of being a Healer. If you find yourself in need of support as you're thrust in the role of Caregiver it can guide you to see and respect yourself in those everyday challenges. An Excellent compassionate resource!
