I have tried many different braiding gels to get those sleek braids and precise parts. This stuff is the TRUTH I am telling you! It doesn't have a strong smell it blends in the hair well and is not sticky on fingers or leave residue like other gels. I have used this for twists and braids and it can even be used as an edge control if you didn't get Aunt Jackie's matching edge control from the same line. This stuff holds and lasts for a long time, even as the hair is growing there is no buildup or white gunk or flaking just smooth hold and lasting styles. This braiding gel helps seal ends and moisturize at the same time. This is like an all-in-one for braids and twists. I have only used this on natural hair but I am sure the same goes for protective styles that use weave/ braiding hair. With the biotin and honey within the product, your hair will grow and be moisturized while doing so. For what is within this product and the quality of the gel the price is worth it. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

This is a great product. This product is priced at a reasonable price. The consistency is nice , it’s not sticky or heavy. I have curly hair and it holds greatly. It also moisturizes my hair and doesn’t turn hard or fluffy.

I have 4c hair, with grey hairs that have its on texture, and going through menopause so I am always sweating. With that all being said this stuff really works. It laid down my hair and doesn't feel stiff. I have a very short cut that I gel completely down with a part on the side. I've tried a lot of products and this loc gel so far is the best along with the holding foam. It's not greasy, no white residue, firm hold.

This product was used to help in the parting process of my daughters hair and to put a sleek ponytail in mine. It worked perfectly for my daughter however I was left with a slightly white cast around my edges. I had freshly washed hair. ( Day before) I don't usually get product build up so I'm thinking maybe this is a one-off I will rewash my hair and try it again this time with even less product to make sure. Anything that I recommend Aunt Jackies... The curl Boss is my favorite gel for curls

I love everything about this product. I have finally found a gel that holds my hair in place and doesn’t leave any white residue. PLEASE AUNTIE JACKIE DONT MESS THIS ONE UP. The smell is just mild , not too greasy all I do when I apply it to my hair I just tie it for a few minutes and let it dry . So far I have experienced no white residue .

Great for using as an edge control or as a substitute for hair gel. It leave no residue even after a few days and its not heavy at all on your hair. It also doesn't flake. I can get hold for several days before I have to reapply.

Me encanta, funciona perfecto en trenzas, lo apliqué de la raíz a la punta (con extensiones de kanekalon) y aunque pasen los días no forma residuos, tampoco es demasiado firme por lo que da un aspecto natural y flexible. Lo volvería a comprar! Es el mejor que he usado y a muy buen precio, trae mucho producto.

This product was good. The scent is not overwhelmingly strong. I haven’t experienced any flaky residue buildup on my scalp. One doesn’t need to use a lot of product. A little goes a long way. Would highly recommend
