I have a 2006 Outback XT. The kit worked well for me. The throw out bearing is correct.

Hello, The flywheel should be taken to a machine shop for resurfacing. If the flywheel is too damaged to resurface then it is recommended to replace the flywheel as well.

Q: can you confirm that this includes the solid mass flywheel? the part number should include it, but your product image does not......

The "FW" at the end of the part number indicates it has a flywheel included. I purchased this exact item on Amazon, and received a single-mass flywheel. Way, WAY better than the old dual-mass IMO.

Q: Will this work for a JDM 2005 subaru legacy 2.0 with a dmf ?

Per my son who I purchased the part for: It will not work with the dmf you need an smf such as an exedy lightweight. I think it's worth mentioning that a single mass flywheel is a direct bolt on and it'll Rev quicker. Only down side is a little more tranny noise in the cabin. That said if you want to upgrade this is the time to do it while the tranny is dropped. It'll be roughly the same amount of money for that clutch with an smf as a different clutch and dmf
