K2 Coolers Water Jug

It’s a great cooler with a few caveats. When I first received mine, it had white residue all over the inside walls and around the o-ring. After cleaning it two times, I decided it was safe to fill it with water. After filling it for the first time, I got an upset stomach. So I cleaned it again more thoroughly and it got better.Initially the water tastes great and is kept cool. But after a few days it starts to taste like the o-ring(slightly rubbery). I don’t know it has to do with the specific model I got but the taste is hard to ignore.Also dust gets through the air-release at the top so be sure to close the gasket after every fill!Other than that it does the job. Solid, sturdy, and keeps water cool.If I had to do it again, I would not buy this cooler. Too many issues for a product I paid quite a premium for.

I was looking for a new option for water coolers as my Igloo foam filled ones wore out. This fit the bill. The Coolers hold ice and the top latches down. I even lost one out of the back of the truck on a turn and it was barely scratched as 20mph. I have 3. The only Manufacturing flaw is that the spout leaks. It requires 2 more complete turns on the screw inside to compress the gasket properly.

The cooler was fine for the first couple of days. But it seems if it sits outside in the sun (texas heat) the water starts tasting like plastic. I throughly washed it out several times. It would be ok the first day and then taste like plastic again. Would not recommend this for the price I paid.

When I first received it the spout leaked. That just took a little tightening. Then it worked good for a couple of months then started leaking from the bottom plug. My papers in the work van got all wet overnight. In the morning it went into the trash and I got a 5 gallon igloo at ace. The commercial igloo cooler works great and I would highly recommend.

Customer service solution was to tighten the spigot. Tried that didn't work at Over a $125 for a cooler I shouldn't have to touch a thing it should work fine out of the Box. Customer service sent another spigot that 1 leaked as well. There's a serious design flaw here folks when the one moving part doesn't function as designed. It makes a mess leaking everywhere. My 2 cents… avoid this product and wait for Pelican to make 1 and do it right. Or go with the yellow and red Igloo commercial cooler

This cooler is amazing. Holds ice for over 48hrs. I was a bit skeptic when I bought it, but after using it the first time I was sold. This is amazing, definitely recommend for anyone who works outside in the heat to keep your water cool for the entire day.

Holds ice long as has been stated this is the real deal among commercial coolers, if you look on youtube you can see a review for a k2 water cooler vs a rubbermaid. The k2 doesnt dissapoint buy with confidence
