Dr. Color Monster and the Emotions Toolkit

I am thoroughly surprised by how well this book is written. While there are some words that could have been replaced by simpler versions so as to cater for younger audience, I find that the sentences were well constructed and explained emotions well. The idea of creating individual emotion toolkit is great. My 4 year old has been having lots of big feelings and this book has given me example of languages I can use to help him navigate his feelings.

This book is great if you are trying to teach a child about emotions. It Has helped my son name his emotions and getting him into the habit of reading. The emotions kit is awesome I even learn lt of someways of regulation my emotions.

Loved the first book and this one is even better. Great ways to teach coping skills to children when big emotions arise.

This is a great book! My preschool class loves it. Great way to discuss emotions in the early years.
