I’ve been using PetArmor Plus Flea and Tick Prevention for my small Maltese dog and my dog had an active flea infestation when I first used this product on him. It cleared up his fleas in two to three days, and I have continued to use this product every thirty days. This is the recommended time between doses, and my dog has not gotten fleas again since I started to use this product as recommended. Pet Armor Plus has the same active ingredient as the best-selling name brand on the market. My dog is happy now that he’s not itching. Pet Armor has been safe and effective for my dog, and the cost savings is helpful.

First off, I have two chihuahuas who have never had fleas but do get plenty of ticks. We have been using another brand all-in-one chewable from our Vet which is very expensive. To save some money we decided to get heart chewable and topical flea and tick. My short hair chihuahua had no issues with the topical at all. It did not bother him to have it applied. My long hair, senior dog had an immediate reaction including retreating to his cage, rolling all over and hyperventilating. As per the instructions on the package, if a dog shows a reaction, bathe them in mild soap and lots of water. We gave him a bath and he was fine after that. I think at least for him, we will switch to the chewable version of the flea and tick prevention.
