The Instructions Aren't Clear, But...
I just mostly wanted a mask that wouldn't make me sweat like a hog. But this one wasn't much more than the last mask I purchased that seriously didn't breathe. I would get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, and when I got back in bed and pulled that other mask back down over my eyes, it would be cold and clammy, and just plain gross. This mask delivers. My skin can breathe in it, and I don't sweat nearly as bad. The Bluetooth and White Noise features are just a bonus. Now, the first time I tried the White Noise, I spent an hour or so trying to figure it out. I followed the instructions, but I just wasn't connecting to it. But I am as tenacious as a dog with a bone, and I fiddled with it until I finally figured it out.Clearly, this mask was not made in the US, and the instructions were written by someone who isn't entirely fluent in English, so I'll give you the steps to get to the White Noise.1. Hold the center button down until the light begins to flash. It will flash just blue at first, then red and blue, alternating.2. When it begins to flash red and blue, hold the minus (-) button down until you hear it say, "Pairing", then let go.3. Next, click the minus (-) button 3 times quickly. It should say, "Nature" then something that sounds like it might be Japanese. Then you should hear birds chirping.4. Next, hold down the minus (-) button until you hear the White Noise recording change. Let go. Repeat holding down the button until it changes and letting go until you find the nature sound you like the most.5. To raise the volume, click the plus (+) button quickly until it's as loud as you want, but it's unlikely you'll need to, as the sound comes through nice and clear, and does a fine job of drowning out any other noise around you.I haven't tried to pair the mask with my phone for the Bluetooth, because listening to music tends to keep me awake. But I love the sound of the waves and the rain, and sometimes the swamp. Also, it took a little bit for me to get used to the speakers in the mask. I'm a side-sleeper, so I can feel the speaker against my ear.I live in a boarding house that holds up to 17 people. I share a room with 4 other women. Noise happens. So does light. This mask is a godsend!

Great for light sleepers
I’ve been using this sleep mask for over a month now every night. Overall I’m pretty happy with it.Pros: comfortable, uses Bluetooth, easy to use, can play ALL NIGHT and doesn’t hurt the inside of my ears like my ear buds did.Cons: not very adjustable for smaller heads, sometimes the charger cable doesn’t seeem to be charging the mask. Don’t know if it’s a problem with the cord, the port or the light 🤷🏼♀️I have chronic insomnia and am a light sleeper…with a husband that snores and a dog that’s afraid of storms. When I am wearing this mask I can choose whatever I want to drown out my hubby and dog. I even slept through a storm when my dog was whining and crying and woke my husband up (nice change since I’m usually the one who hears every little sound).😂 I can’t verify if the sound choices in the mask are good or even work. I would recommend this product.

It's like lounging on the beach, all alone.
It charges quickly, and it lasts through the night. It's comfortable to wear, and didn't wake me up like so many other gadgets have. I volunteer for a large organization, and we often end up sleeping in volunteer shelters. Everyone stays in the shelter together. This is the ONLY thing I have ever tried that works. Not only does it block out noise, the sounds they have sound exactly like real life. There are numerous different types if environments, and even those have options you can add, just find the right app. Beach? Yep. Thunder? Sure. Rain? Absolutely- all at the same time. It's Bluetooth enabled so listen to music, or a good book, or meditation. It's amazing!

Junk, weird software Bluetooth doesn’t stay connected
First, my iPhone recognizes the headphones as counterfeit AirPods. Second, the mask worked for me for 1 night. I charged the mask during the day and was able to listen for 10 minutes tonight then the Bluetooth disconnects. I tried to reconnect many times, no luck. In pair/repair. Still no. They connect and immediately disco. Bummer. They sounded ok and were fairly comfortable. If they worked I’d have given 3 -4 stars. Probably just gonna buy the Manta instead now.

Intended for Bluetooth use despite having 38 built in sounds.
I tried this mask because I wanted more built-in sounds rather than having to rely on connecting to a phone. A Bluetooth connection to fall asleep is easy enough, but I need white noise more to fall back to sleep, and futzing with my phone in the middle of the night defeats the purpose. The first sleep mask I tried defaulted to the built in sounds of which there were only 4 with 30 second loops with pauses at the end of loop. They were unusable to me, so it had to be Bluetooth. I bought this mask because it has 38 built-in sounds. However this one defaults to Bluetooth on start up. A long press of one of the buttons brings you to the built in sounds mode which is where the real problem begins. It takes a long press to cycle to the next sound, which given 38 options, can take too long, especially if you have to repeat the process if you wake up after it has timed out. To make matters worse very few of the sounds are actually soothing. (Can anyone really fall asleep to the sound of someone tramping in the snow, or to the sound of a heartbeat? Even at a very low volume the hearbeat still sounds like it’s out of a Edger Allen Poe novel. Many of the more annoying sounds I can’t even describe). I did find a couple I like, but they are many presses in from the default start-up. Again, not something you want to be doing when you are trying to fall back asleep. If, on re-start it defaulted to the last sound you played, I would give it 4 stars. If it got rid of some of the novelty sounds and added more true white noise variants, I’d give it 5 stars.
