Fun for all ages
The media could not be loaded. Stick your finger in and you might get zapped, what could go wrong. Well my son snuck this to school and even the teacher wanted to play. The zap is very soft and I still don't know how it is generated. it might have to do with the spinning of the top because if spun for a while, the zap does seem a bit stronger. So this is a fun toy that allows for a random person to get zapped. After a while we would challenge to use the pinkie finger instead to get more pain LOL. But it is all in good fun. We did try a guess game were we would spin it and tell another player where to put their finger and test to see if we were correct. This was alot more fun. So we made a few game ideas with this fun toy.

Too small for large fingers to fit. On my game you can tell which hole will be shocked every time
To me shocking toys are fun. I have a number of different kinds and when I saw this I thought it would be cool to try out. Unfortunately the description doesn't tell much about how it works and when I got it there were only a couple reviews and I got this based on a review that gave wrong information about how the product operates. The entire top half of the toy spins on the lower section. So when you give it a spin the "shock button" and finger holes all rotate together. The shock button is just a spark generator wired to a single finger hole. So the sole purpose of spinning the game is to try to confuse you as to which finger hole the shock will come out of. If you didn't spin it and just kept pushing the button the same person would get shocked every time. Here is the biggest problem for me. My unit has a mark in the top between the button and the hole that gets shocked. (It's the close up picture) So if you look very closely you will always know which hole the shock will come out of. My second biggest problem with it is the size of the finger holes. For most large adult men they will only be able to get their pinky far enough into the hole to get shocked. It appears impossible to put two fingers on the same hand into two different holes so if you're not playing with enough people to fill the finger holes the chances of someone getting shocked really goes down. If you stick one finger from each hand into a hole it is extremely difficult to also operate the button.I was not at all impressed with this toy and personally do not recommend it.

Fun Russian roulette game
This game is fun. Kids and adulta love it. Spin the base and everyone places their finger and then press the button and someone gets shocked. Now the shock is not hard or discomforting. Is subtle but definitely felt. Sadly it broke after a week of receiving it. The plastic feels cheap and snapped quickly. Too bad we enjoyed it. As an adult game whoever got shocked will have a drink.

1 in 6 Russian roulette
The media could not be loaded. I like that the top spins nicely to randomize the punishment hole. The way it works is one finger hole out of the six is wired to give you a mild shock. Think about push button igniters for propane torches or gas stoves. There’s two pin holes in all 6 holes so you can’t feel which one will give the shock. Though note that it’s always the same hole that shocks which is why the spinner must shuffle after each round. This is fun for kids and even more fun for with adults that jump scare easily. My 5 year old toughed through it and the hardest part is getting shocked for the first time, especially if somebody else screams and instills fear into everyone else. It’s really not that bad and it feels more like a spring tapping on your finger than an electric shock. I’ve been shocked with static that is way more uncomfortable than this but you’ll definitely feel it unless you wear gloves.Don’t know how this could detect lies other than give the subject a 1 in 6 chance to not get shocked. Maybe all they need is a good bluff to force the truth out of them.Decent build quality, we dropped it at least 3 times on a tile floor and it still works.

Disappointed
Instructions are written on the side of the box. Thought this would be an amusing novelty but it does not produce any type of shock. Thought it might be like a joy buzzer. Nothing happens when my friends and I try it.
