I took a long time picking these out for my bedside lighting but I liked the design and the (advertised) functionality of the light. You should be warned that there is considerable effort in using these in the hardwired option. I bought two of these fixtures and each one had the wires bundles differently internally. This means you'll have to chase wires if you're particular about wiring white-to-white and black-to-black. Also once you make those connections there is no room in the housing to fit the extra wire and wire nut which will make it a real struggle to set it attached to it's mounting bracket. Finally, it will not charge my wife's apple devices that use USB-C on both ends. It does charge my iPad that uses the lightning connector.

What sold me on this light was that it has a nightlight, a USB port, and an adjustable reading light. It's very sleek and modern looking Dislikes: the night light is too bright. Wish there were different brightness levels. The USB port is very, very tight. My iphone charger does not plug easily into the port and taking the charger out is even more difficult. I thought it was stuck for good at first, but after wrestling with it and shimmying it back and forth, I was finally able to pull the charger out of the port. I thought I was going to break the panel because it was so difficult to remove. I don't know if it's just a faulty one I received, but if they are all like this, then that's something that should be fixed. The on/off buttons will take getting used to because typically, with toggle switches, you press the top for on and the bottom for off. On this light it's the other way around. Feels backwards. I also wish the switches weren't so hard to press. Even the adjustable reading light is tight and difficult to move around. Lastly, the corners of the night light part are dangerously sharp. One of the corners on my light was chipped. I almost purchased two of these to put on both sides of the bed, but I'm glad I just bought one to test it out. So, if I were the designer of this light, I'd make some improvements so it were more user friendly.

This is a great bedside light. It is very bright (both light types), but as long as you are okay with that it’s a great light. The USB-A charger is a little tough to pull out on the one I got, but hopefully I can just leave it in most of the time. Multiple ways to connect it. It is on the heavy side, so you need a good way to fasten it securely, but it feels like a decent quality item because of it.

We bought a new ski home that had lights and switches installed in the bedroom that were clearly placed for a queen bed. When we moved our king size canopy bed in, the beams on the bed were directly over the existing switches. These lights were perfect to replace those switches (I hard wired them where the switches were and simply replaced the old lights with blank covers) so that we could have our bed centered and still have functioning lights. The USB ports are an added bonus especially for Airbnb which we may do in the future). My only complaint is that the switches are a little “stiff” but they will probably loosen up a bit over time.

Works excellent for light above bed for reading..the back light is affective as the direct light. So nice to just plug in, but could be hard wired. Excellent choice for my purpose.

Just finished my king bed wall and installed these with ease. Super heavy duty design. Love the brightness off all lights. The reading light is exactly what I wanted. Great design and functionality. You can even turn the reading lights up and create lighting effect across back wall. Good for art etc. Highly recommend!
