Tested this side by side with a scale I already have and it pretty much matches the same weight levels. The one difference being that this scale is cheaper than what my older one originally cost. So I would say that this would be a pretty good purchase to look into. And if there's any sale, it's just a very good deal. It's also kind of easy to work with

This device is accurate to 0.1 gram. Ensure it is on a solid level surface - and if you want, check it's accuracy with a coin. A US Nickle is 5 grams, a US cent is 2.5g. Note that there is some variability +- .1 gram, but checking with a coin or known weight before hand can instill confidence that the scale is reading spot on. It also has a timer for tracking your brewing time, elapsed and count-down. Comes with a handy plastic cover to keep it clean. I recommend and would buy again.

In the meantime, I’ve been building up the needed tools and accessories to pour the best shot of espresso that I can, and watching a lot of tutorials and guides on the Internet.One of the most important things with espresso is getting your doses, correct? Which means not only weighing your beans before the ground, but weighing your espresso shots, and even the milk or milk alternative that you were trying to steam for a latte or something like that.Well, I have a traditional kitchen scale that I use for cooking. It is quite large and that’s where these espresso scales really come to play. Most espresso machines don’t have large ledge, or a lot of height clearance in between the porta filter and the ledge. This small scale fits perfectly is a great size. Great quality Ann has a rechargeable battery, which is all the things that I was looking for.I compared the scale to my kitchen scale that I use and they were both identical up until about a 10th of a gram which is plenty close for me. Be honest I have no idea which one is 100% correct or not but it does go to show that the scale is calibrated and is close enough for the applications that I need to use it for.

This scale is great, I kind of wish I had gotten this earlier instead of shelling out so much for my acaia lunar. I weighed a few different things on this scale, using my espresso scales to compare for smaller measurements and my ordinary kitchen scales to compare for heavier items. Overall this performed as well as both of the scales I already own. Again, kinda wish I had found this earlier! Would recommend.

My dad lives with me and makes espresso twice a day and has always struggled with weighing his coffee. So when I saw this scale, I knew I had to try it for him.He's over the moon and just so happy to have it and says it works a charm. So far so good. Don't know how long the charge lasts yet, but it's been a long time so far (over a week).At this point would definitely recommend for coffee aficionados.

I have 2 small scales like this we use in the kitchen. They both have the same results but this one is easier to use as the units are clearly marked and it has separate buttons for all functions which is key to easy use. The base is large enough for most of my measuring cups.

The first thing about this digital scale is the number of spelling mistakes on the package: Digital & Coffee is mispelled on EVERY side of the box. The scale has a rechargeable internal battery, a slot for (2) AAA batteries (not included) and a USB-C cable. The unit does come with a plastic cover to assist in keeping the scale from being damaged.The scale itself has several measurements, mass & weight. The scale also includes a timer and the LCD is backlight, with no ability to adjust the brightness - that I can see. The scale seems to be decently accurate, but I have not found a method for calibration, other than the Tare feature.The lack of UL listing and the poor spelling means that I can ise this for minor uses, but I am not expecting this scale to be extremely accurate.

This is a great small portable scale. It is accurate and precise. It’s small and compact. I could use this for many different purposes. I like that it’s rechargeable via usb C. It does come with a usb c cable but not a wall plug

At 18mm thin (and 90x160mm on the surface) its ideal for coffee machines that don’t have a lots of drop space between the portafilter and the drip tray. It sits on rubbery feet that gripped my drip tray well. The metal surface of the scale is easy to clean if you have a spill; or an espresso shot that goes crazy.The scales have a basic operation; You can tare the weight to zero with a tare button. There is a start/ stop timer (a long press resets the counter.) It reads weight back to 0.1 of a gram. The scales can work in imperial or metric units, adjusted by the mode switch. The blue backlit led screen is easy to read at most angles. When you have finished using it for the day there is a plastic cover you can use to protect it.After 18 shots this week the battery is still at 3 bars of life so the battery life seems pretty good; and you can top it back up quickly with a usb charger.

Great unit for measuring coffee doses. Used daily.

Not a bad little set of scales, but the display needs a bit of getting used to.The alloy tray is pretty neat and nicely finished, as is the plastic cover that protects the set when not in use.The actually body (also plastic) is just about 'OK', but I think something a bit more substantial would have made all the difference to the overall appearance/quality.The display is a bit strange, with the digits being long and narrow. It certainly does the job with the backlit display making the segments very clear (the sweet-spot for viewing is actually perfect for normal use), but I'm not quite sold on that long/thin digit business.Apart from that, they work fine and exactly as described (and expected), so can't complain on that score.On a quality/value-for-money basis... 4-Stars.

Update: customer service reached out to me and rectified the situation. Very impressed with the level of service even though I wasn’t happy with the item. Will buy from the seller again.I have adjusted my rating to 4 stars incorporate the good customer service———————These scales are not very accurate for measuring Coffee. Whilst measuring the numbers are constantly moving up and down even though nothing is going in or out on top of the scale. Quite disappointed.
