Bigger is better
I was surprised at the size of this magnet. I should’ve looked at the measurements. I haven’t tried it yet, but I doubt if I tried fishing with it, I would catch much. It was hard to remove off the refrigerator when I tested it. I guess I’ll find out.

Fishing nails out of my pond!
We have a small backyard, pond, and recently had some work done around the house. I had asked the roofers and other construction to be careful about letting things fall into the pond. I could see that some debris had fallen in and I was worried about the metal harming my fish so I bought this to help Fish out any nails or other metal items that may have fallen in this worked exactly as I expected. It’s Lightweight but still pretty powerful for its size. Not only did it pick up all the nails that had fallen in from the roofing, but it also was picking up on the natural metal that was in the rocks in the pond ha ha!

Nice magnet, it works!
We're having some metal siding installed. Some of the shavings and metal bolts, nails, etc. get left on the ground and this picks them up well. It's hard to get them off, yet I found a wooden paint stir stick will scrape them off pretty well.
