Hindi Bible (Hindi Edition) Imitation Leather – February 1, 2011

This is in Punjabi and my friend cannot read it. So disappointed!

This bible is exactly what it says. I am learning Hindi and wanted something I could read and use to expand my vocabulary, so what better for such a task than the Word of God? It isn't a decorative table top bible in any form, but it's a good quality bible, no red letters for the words of Jesus. But it is a nice bible.

Overall not bad. Purchased as a thank you to a Hindi couple. They are happy and we are happy that they love it.

I wouldn't call the cover imitation leather. It's looks and feels plastic to me. In fact, the is uncomfortable to the touch. Other than the cover, the Bible is great.

got this for an ex boyfriend and he was really impressed with it but said the hindi was so formal it was hard to understand so he went back to using an english bible

A beautiful bible, beautifully printed and with such a feel that even without knowing that it's a bible you'd say, "This must be a bible." Old and New Testaments with several maps of the Holy Land.

I am so glad I could find a Hindy Bible. I finally could put a smile on a mother's face

I am learning Devanagari script and thought that translating a Hindi Bible would be a great way to learn. It's a beautiful Bible and the cover is very sturdy - I would definitely recommend this item.
