Good Earth Lighting 12-inch Plug In Under Cabinet Light - White

I love this, it's exactly what I was looking for in my kitchen. We have a long narrow kitchen that has only one light fixture. It doesn't give enough light to cover then entire kitchen so I went looking for something inexpensive to put under one of our cabinets. This fixture is small but has a powerful light source considering its size. It's very easy to install (maybe 15 mins?) with very little hassle. It doesn't buzz when on like some light fixtures like this can do. Gives GREAT lighting, sometimes we just use this light when not needing the whole kitchen to be lit at night. It worked so well we will be ordering more in the future to put under more cabinets. Highly recommend, worth the price!

When I selected this product from Amazon, the visual display was small and I thought the fixture was larger than it turned out to be.I thought it had 2 tubes rather than one.The fixture it replaced had 2 tubes.It was very easy to install with 2 provided screws and produces more light than expected. The on-off switch is very smooth and the light is instant on, without flickering.The price was reasonable and I am totally satisfied with the purchase.My wife loves it and uses it more often than she used the fixture it replaced.

Had to replace another under cabinet light that broke since it had a plastic housing which did not survive its own heat. Was looking for a T5-12" Florescent fixture since I had already purchased replacement bulbs in quantity for the five fixtures I already have, and did not want those replacement bulbs to go to waste. I had noticed that the description stated "3000K color temperature" rather than the 6500K Daylight which are the bulbs I had purchased, but it was very sufficient for that section of counter, so I did not replace the included bulb with one of my own. But the description is accurate and folks who say it isn't as bright as they expected just didn't bother to read the page correctly. I expect it will last since it has a metal base, not plastic as many others of such fixtures have.

It works fine. It ended up putting out much less light than I originally hoped. It works more as an accent light rather than a good source of light.

I've been looking for a good durable light fixture that will hold up well in warm, humid conditions as well as around animals, and I found it in this. I keep reptiles (ball pythons), and I use stackable caging with light fixtures in each cage. My old fixtures were plastic around the screw holes, and with the warmer temperatures these lights were in constantly (85 degrees F during the day 80 degrees F at night), the plastic around the screws eventually would begin to stretch and/or dry rot, so I started looking for something that could withstand the heat. This light fixture is it! The area around the screw holes are metal (though I still use a washer when installing, so the animals can't shift the light and knock it down), so no stretching the holes. These fixtures are smaller than the ones I had, but they put off enough light to compensate for that; I've often thought they put out more/better light than the old ones. Plus their smaller size is great for 12" high cages. I currently have 11 of these fixtures, and will buy more as my older units fizzle out; each time an old model stops working, I replace it with this. I would definitely recommend these to anyone, regardless of your purpose, as these have been able to withstand my stringent requirements.

This is a smaller version but gives a great amount of light for those dark under counter areas! Great Buy!

When I first got it I wasn’t sure on the size but its size is great for small spaces. I ended up buying many more and mounting them on wall shelves to make wall lights. The cord length is good if you mount it to a kitchen cabinet or somewhere where the outlet is 3 feet away, but there is also a knockout for if you want to hard wire it. The color temp is 3000K which matched the bulb that I got from the hardware store. It comes with two wood screws that are pretty easy to put in, to mount it. The light is bright enough for one to light up a room.

I just finished installing my Good Earth 12.5-inch long fluorescent light fixture in the garage and it works beautifully. You should know this is not some big light fixture that you might hang in the middle of the garage, but a smaller fixture you will want to affix under a cabinet. That's what I did and it is very inconspicuous and provides the perfect bench lighting I need at my work bench. I will say, getting the packaging off the fixture was a bit of an adventure. Especially with my clumsy big hands. The directions for getting the little cardboard sheath off the lightbulb are pretty ambiguous. You have to somehow pry the plastic light cover away from the metal housing to get to the sheath and then hope to God you don't snap something while doing it. Just be very careful getting it apart and you'll be alright. As I said, the product itself works great.
