I bought this ax and was seriously impressed. Heavy duty with a beautiful leather cover—and they even included the tools to sharpen it. The ax has a solid weight, but it’s not too heavy for a woman to handle comfortably. The grip is fantastic—it fits perfectly in your hand, making it easy to swing with control. The set came with a sharpening stone and oil, which shows the company really went the extra mile. Quality item all around. I’d definitely recommend it. You can officially call me Lumber Jane!

I am very impressed with this hatchet. Both for feel and ease of use. The handle failed after 4 months in a weird way. Contacted the seller and received a replacement in 6 days. Very good experience all the way around.

My go to camping axe, had to re-handle it after I broke it by my own mistake. Axe head is robust and the stone was a nice addition. Sheath is also good to have come with.

I have not used this a lot , but it is a quality item. The balance and leverage felt perfect.

Really solid, cool looking axe head. Weighted real well, feels good swinging it. I have a thing for axes though :P Def going to get the longer handled ones too. It needs to be sharpened. I wish it would of been prof sharpened is my only down side but you can just take it to a handyman store and they will sharpen it for you. I have to look up how to use a sharpening stone still. Good price too, taking this camping in a month so we will see how it holds up splitting wood. Update, the sheath broke already, If anyone from the sellers company can get in contact with me for a replacement sheath that would be great. 3 stars till resolved.

Overall a nice hatchet . It will come in handy when I am in the bush. Nice weight and feels good in my hand. Came with a sharpening stone and hatchet cover. The handle comes stained but I added three coats of spar varnish to dress it up and protect it.

My friend loved it and I was really impressed with the quality of the package and the quality of the axe. It made for a really impressive looking gift! (in the spring of 2024 I paid about $45 CAD in Canada for it)

This was a gift. The axe looks and feels great, and hopefully it performs well. Once we go camping we will get a chance to properly test, but out of box it seems good. However, the protective sheath doesn't fit. I was hoping to find customer support and get a replacement but I couldn't find any. The back strap doesn't reach when put on, and the loop for a person's belt, it'd have to be a skinny belt. I took a star off because of the sheath. If anything comes of the axe, like if it breaks after the first use I will update.

The handle would have been better if it was a bit polished
