Excellent
I bought this for my father with his initials engraved* - He absolutely loved it. The personalization did not complicate the order and the overall quality was to be expected for the brand. Arrived sharp (so be careful), excellent balance, and more robust than the Japanese style, so have at it with [smaller] bones. Very pleased. Happy cooking.* It’s more of a laser etching than “engraving.” Not a problem for me, but FYI

A "cut" above the rest ....my wife loves this knife!
great value well worth the money. my wife is the cook of the famliy and she uses this knife for just about any application in the kitchen. there is no pull whatsoever when slicing through it tomato or soft bread. at least once a week shell tell me how amazing this knife is in comparison to the (now retired) knife that used to be in her regular rotation. at 6 inches its not too big nor too small ...just be careful washing it it's super sharp.

Great in between knife, ended up using it more then my chefs knife
Great size, easy to clean and keep sharp. Make sure to hone before every use for best results.

Very nice knife
Pricey but nice knife. I use it a lot in place of the 8 inch.

Thin knife, high quality steel, good value, but not as balanced in the hand as the 6 in. Henckels chef's knife.
A thin knife with high quality steel (I can cut an olive into 12 slices). I can cut frozen fish without nicking the blade edge. Cleans up and sharpens well. However, it is not as well balanced in my hand as my 6 in. Henckels chef's knife. I think the "gourmet" in the title is a bit pretentious, as it is just a basic chef's knife. Good value for the price.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!.. Worst $70 I've ever spent. This knife didn't cut any better than the $20 knives that i have. Also, it was a present but it came packaged super cheap. Typical paper backing with a thin clear plastic knife-shaped cover over it. If I'm spending almost a hundred dollars on something that ONLY CUTS FOOD, then you would think they would package it differently than the same way they package triple A batteries. I spent a whole week trying to find a gift box that would fit this knife. Do not buy this as a present, and if you're looking for some new cutlery for yourself, spend your money on Japanese cutlery. These knives are expensive because they have a German name. That is all.
