PES 2014 Faultless Gameplay
This game is fantastic. Lovely smooth graphics and very nice to control. My only small criticism of this game is that PES don't seem to have all the proper names or strips for the teams (but it is fun trying to work out what the teams actually are). I hope this is agreed with whoever does the licencing for future PES releases, despite this small issue, the game as a whole though is faultless and brilliant to play.

PES 2014
A great improvement on PES 2013,the game play is getting back to PES best, can still improve, but the game is more realistic and the action is much improved. It also has more leagues which is an improvement, but still they cannot compete with the FIFA franchise, but is greatly improved from previous editions, could do with the German league even if was like the English league it would be a much needed addition.Have always prefered PES gameplay over FIFA, always play PES, even more now with this new edition.

PES 2014 has too many flaws to have fun with it
I am like every PES veteran, I like the franchise but not the latest ones. I agree with most reviews on the Internet saying that PES 2014 is a good one and that perhaps next year will be the PES that everyone has been waiting for all these years. It is just the fact that the game in its current state is bland and hard on the wrong aspects. My main complaints:- Defending depends a lot on luck: despite great positioning and timing, tackles are subject to some random factors that makes some actions impossible to defend. I am more of a defensive player than an offensive player and the game does not let you defend properly because of the bad control you have over your player.- Constructing actions in the midfield is tiring and mostly unrewarding. What I expect from passing the ball from the midfield is to get a nice shot, but most of the time you can't even take a shot that you lose the ball for some stupid reason (ie. mostly AI-related issues).- Attacking is enjoyable but getting a shot is really hard through construction (solo runs are always easy, right?). Scoring in PES has always been a great sensation but I just don't have many occasions in a match to shoot on goal to enjoy the game as I expect.- The lack of license and tranfers update is irritating, even if we can update it- Absence of key online features, they are to be added in a later patch- Too small player databaseThe sensations are there (especially shooting and game speed), but the AI flaws and unpractical controls makes it hard to have some simple fun. I can score goals and win matches on high difficulty levels but I feel more frustrated than happy during matches because the bad controls and curious AI behaviour get on my nerves. Bad controls and complicated controls do not make the game better.

Very very frustrating game
I actually quite like the game play mechanics and behind all the bad there is a great game underneath. the problem is, you get no time on the ball whatsoever the cpu opposition press you like supermen for 90 minutes. You are pretty much forced to play one touch passing as you spend even a second on the ball an opposing player is rushing you and taking the ball of you unless you release it as soon as you get it. Difficult to find team mates with passes too, and again opposition pretty much intercept and read everything you do. It's just crazy bad. I've been playing pro for years and i'm a pretty decent player, but this version is horrible to play. You want to get some passing moves going but you just got no time at all and as for running with the ball forget it.This game really should be better than it is, and there is no fun playing it. I had a lot more fun playing pes 2011-2013. This version makes my head hurt.

Konami continue to test our loyalty... how much longer to put up with this?
When I first bought this latest version of Pro Evo, despite what I had been reading about this effectively being Konami laying ground work for next year's game, I was willing to give it a chance. I have been staunchly Pro Evo over FIFA since 2002 and continue to believe that Pro Evo remains a much more satisfying game to play than FIFA, with superior gameplay and generally more varied and fun matches.I would maintain that even with this version - as opposed to the flat, repetitive, dull games of FIFA I am forced to play against some of my friends who have long given up on Konami's efforts (including some who were also previously die hard Pro Evo fans) - I still would say Pro Evo is the more fun of the two. However, and this is becoming an increasingly strong "however" in recent years, Konami continue to test the patience of those who remain loyal to it. This is, quite frankly, the worst Pro Evo in many, many years. I am actually struggling to figure out what steps forward this Pro Evo has taken - yes, I have watched the Konami videos telling me about all the great new touches, such as 360 passing, players sweating, etc etc. All very exciting.Yet, I switch on a game with menus more basic than even International Superstar Soccer for the Super Nintendo and then try out the various game modes only to find out that, rather than take even at least minor steps forward, the game goes backwards. It's not the licences or lack of stadium etc which are frustrating even - it's the basic things which are completely unconnected with the licences that Konami have dumbfoundingly failed to address / have removed.Become a Legend mode feels even more basic than the original incarnation of the mode, which is saying something, with a number of basic functions removed completely unnecessarily - the once more customisable camera has been removed, you can't set your squad number, you can't ask an agent to negotiate with a particular team. Master League is similar in looking much more basic / not implementing or removing certain useful stats. In tournaments, for some unexplained reason, Konami have removed the simple menu which let you see how many games each player had played in the league / cup. How hard is it to implement also a real time "other scores" update, which FIFA does so well? Not to mention that there is no option to have either rain or snow in the game - even Commodore 64 football games managed to implement weather systems - embarrassing. Third kits are available for teams, which is a step in the right direction, but they are only available for some teams and bizarrely not for customisable teams.Or the terrible, terrible player faces - with the exception of the top teams in the game, the faces in the game are beyond woeful. Creating a custom player is also much more frustrating, with the end results looking nothing like what is intended. The gameplay in matches remains great, but it is getting harder and harder each year to justify playing Pro Evo - gradually the game modes were being improved to match FIFA's, but given the lack of positive changes, basically Pro Evo is now aimed at those who are happy to spend time scouring the internet for a custom options file which imports the various club badges / kits etc, or change all the team names / emblems themselves, and those who are happy playing the game amongst friends rather than playing any of the single player game modes. To avoid losing more loyal customers, we can only hope that Konami address a number of these issues with a data pack soon, or at the very least in the next Pro Evo. The poor effort that is Pro Evo 2014 effort leaves me cause for concern that we are just going to be left with FIFA as the only player on the market, which nobody wants.

Excellent
Love this game, people who are football minded and play with football intelligence will love this game, things looking up, next one I imagine will be even better, as a big part of this one was the first implementation of the new Engine.

Moteur graphique qui donne de l'espoir mais pour le reste c'est difficilement jouable surtout avec des joueurs qui ne controlent pas le ballon (comme des joueurs de 7 eme division departementale ) qui perdent tout le temps le ballon.
