Just received the fume filter and tried it out. As the videos demonstrated, the air flow gathers solder flux fumes horizontally from 1+ feet away and the charcoal filter seems to gather everything. I’m happy with the solid construction also.

Good, fits perfectly and cuts down on chemical smells

I got these for replacement filters for my KOTTO fume extractor and they fit perfect! I wanted to make sure I had a good supply of these filters for the future and didn't want to worry about availability down the road. There isn't much else to say, they fit my extractor, they work great at filtering the solder fumes, and they're inexpensive. I highly recommend these!

We all know we're supposed to change these activated carbon filters VERY frequently when in use - they get used up just from exposure to the air in a matter of days. Thus I really liked this 12 pack at a good price. I double and triple checked the measurements and sure enough, they are a close enough fit for my ValtCan TS:500 that I can use them with no real issues.

This set is a good value for what you get. 12 filters allows for a lot of changes and will last a while. The quality seems good. I misjudged the size so they are smaller than what my particular unit needs, but I might be able to make them work. I'm thinking of getting a new fine extractor anyway, so I might just find one that fits these!
