The product is excellent, a minor detail, would love it in other colours. If you read the instructions the measure will last a long time and give you excellent measurements. It was well packed and fast delivery. 5 stars

A little fiddly to begin with
Great I like the measure it's a little fiddly to get used to and larger than usual ones which is a plus but also needs to be carried in some way. It is a tad expensive but is worth it in matches

More accurate bowls measures
A more accurate and "cheat proof" way of measuring. No more tilting the tip of conventional measures to gain that extra 1/4 inch, or looking for the dimple in the mount! They work well and once used to using them (and your marker at the other end!) make measuring a lot easier.

The Best Crown Green Bowls measure.
These measures are the best type to use in crown green. Not only are they accurate they also eliminate potential for misuse and the players have confidence in the result of the measure.

A new getting used to after using the older style measures
Think about it. To release the measure you need to press the Top Button, which you would normally do with your thumb whilst steadying the component with your fingers underneath. But the Base plate is underneath so you can't release it if you're holding it with your fingers! You can force slide it out but it's not comfortable to use at all.

Looks good feels good and seems well made
Haven’t actually tried it yet. Looks good feels good and seems well made. Will definitely stop those who insist on waving the pointed bit in all directions on older type of box measures. Can’t see why the umpires association don’t like it when a few umpires i know think it’s great. I would definitely recommend.
