This is everything it says it is I’ve been pulling trees and several other items and never had an issue. The rope breaks before they do.

It a good snap I use it for my dog because she was breaking heavy duty snap hook so I bought like three of these for separate setup and occasion

Use this for a tie out for our rottweiler. Great quality product.

Works

Being steel, this item is heavy but it also costs a few dollars less than aluminum versions. If the weight isn't an issue for your use case then there's no reason to look elsewhere, as I found the snap hook to be durable and that it functions smoothly.

Very small bend radius and somewhat sharp edges on the connection loop that makes it unusable for rope in my opinion. I’d have given it one star because it’s unusable for my application but gave it three because it’s possible it was only intended to be used with a thimble and or wire cable but even then it looks to be problematic if used for any serious application. Other than the poorly shaped square attachment point, it seems to be made well enough.
