This is for LIGHT support. It is a very thin compression fabric with a flexible metal brace over the back of the thumb. Would easily fit under any type of glove. It does give some warmth to the joint as well. If you're looking for heavy duty support look elsewhere, but if you're just looking for something to help when you're in the last few weeks of recovery from your injury then this should work well for you.

I bought this hoping it would prevent me from moving my thumb very much, or at the least provide additional support while moving. It does neither. It's too large to provide much of a brace, and the Velcro strap on the wrist doesn't do anything to prevent the thumb from moving. It only squeezes the wrist. The fabric isn't right enough or sturdy enough to stop the thumb from moving either, so it still moves, just in a much less natural motion.

This is a great splint / brace. It isn't bulky, it is comfortable and not very conspicuous. It is a keeper and I have already given one as a gift.

Worked as intended I just wish the stay inside was a little bit firmer

I over stretched my thumb and this product works well with my busy work life. Vey comfortable, size was perfect. As for pain relief it didn't help to much.

This product helped my trigger thumb. It helped it from bending and I could still do my daily every day things.
