I’ve been using this sandwich toaster for a couple of weeks now, mainly for quick breakfasts and snacks. First impressions: It’s compact and lightweight, so it’s easy to store. The design is simple and straightforward, with no complicated settings. Performance: It heats up quickly and toasts sandwiches evenly. The plates seal the edges well, which helps keep the filling inside. It’s great for making two sandwiches at once in just a few minutes. Pros: - Quick and easy to use - Heats up fast - Makes evenly toasted sandwiches - Compact and good for small kitchens Cons: - No temperature control - Plates are not removable, so cleaning takes a bit more care - Not suitable for thick or overloaded sandwiches Overall: A reliable sandwich toaster for everyday use. small, neat and good value for the money. Not so easy to clean as advertised in the listing, but for this price, who cares. It won't last a lifetime, but it's a good buy for a small household.

My main reason for ordering this was to cook eggs. I'm too lazy to remove the glass hob protectors (and all the stuff on top of them) and then get the fry pan out, cook the eggs and then have to wash everything up and also get rid of the greasy bits that spit out of the fry pan. With this fab little product I can take it out the cupboard, plug it in, smear some olive oil over both top and bottom plates, crack in one or two eggs, pop the lid down and in about 4 or 5 mins the eggs are cooked perfectly, whites set and yolks nice and runny, just how I like them. I have used it to make a toasted sandwich, seeing as that's really it's main purpose and it does that perfectly too, but as I say my main reason for getting it was to cook the fried eggs. The top and bottom plates are just far enough apart not to touch the top of the yolk when the lids down (didn't snap the lock shut just left that open so I could peep in a couple times when I first started cooking the eggs in this to check they were cooking well). Then when I remove the eggs all I have to do is wipe the plates over with a damp clean cloth or sponge, dry with a paper towel and put it away. What a find! I can recommend this without hesitation, it cooks evenly across both plates and is easy to clean, small enough to not take up much room on the work top and works perfectly!

Tiny! Can only just about fit one slice of bread or one chicken breast. Not as pictured

Gread device BUT, worth to know the enclosed position is not smashing your sandwich enough. If you put 2 slim/normal toast slices they will just sit in there barely touching the hot top plate. If you put one then top won't touch at all.

Bought a different one from another website for about $75. I thought if I paid a bit more, it would be better quality. It worked well at first but then our sandwiches were really messy and it became really hard to clean. I think it had to do with the angle of the insides. By contrast, I paid a very reasonable price for this and it makes such a clean grilled cheese. I think since it's flat, the cheese doesn't slide out as easily. My kids like using the cheese slices which made such a mess with the other one as the cheese would slide right out but seems to stay put with this one.
