works great
i sharpened 3 knives in short order...very sharp indeed. now i havent used them yet so i cant say how good the edge is at this time...its a handy tool to de-burr also..rate this a buy

Better Than Most
I use these while I'm working, between horses or during breaks. I tend to use a chainsaw sharpening bit in a drill or dremel to get the perfect edge, but this works great for day to day use.

The sharpener has a good feel in your hands. A nice grip and well balanced. Sharpens the hoof knife quickly and easily.

Using For Paring Knives
We don't have any hoof knives to test this out on, but it works great with smaller knives. After trying it with anything longer than 5 inches, you quickly realize it's not useful in that department. The grit is substantial and shows no sign of shedding. Great additional to the longer honer we have.Pros: Nice gritCons: Too short for longer knives
