This is perfect for travel. Just place bar in bag and you have a built wash cloth. I just let dry and put it a plastic baggie. I use for camp trips too. Love it!

Read the reviews on several of these soap bags and chose this one because people said it was soft... and that it is! While I personally wouldn't use it on my face (mostly because I don't use bar soap on my face) it feels "natural" (unlike those plastic-based mesh bath poufs) and is indeed perfect for the body! Will be ordering another one for our other bathroom. While you do have to be mindful of the drawstring (it can come undone as you use it and the soap can fall out), tying a loose knot in the string should solve the problem. I drew the drawstring closed and tried to just hold it in place as I used it but I lost track of the string and it did loosen. Will definitely tie a knot next time. :) But thank you! SO happy to finally be able to use up all those little leftover soap bars!

I've used this item for about a month. I decided to give it a try after many years of just stacking old slivers of soap onto new bars. I was initially disappointed because it didn't allow much soap to reach my skin, resulting in some rough scrubbing for a few weeks. After a month, the bar of soap inside the bag softened sufficiently to saturate the bag with soap, and now an appropriate amount of soap is available as soon as I wet the bag in the shower. I find that the scrubbing action delivered by the bag is on par with a washcloth.Now that the bag is fully saturated with soap, I believe additional soap bars will be consumed at a normal rate. As for the many reviews that down-rate the item because the drawstring doesn't stay closed, I use a knot to good effect. My only lingering concern about the item is the possibility of some fungi taking root, but that should be readily apparent if it occurs, and a quick bleach soak should clear it up.

These are my absolute favorite bags. The size is perfect for my bar shampoo and conditioner. They make lathering easy. The bags have no smell either.

I was hoping truly for a product made in the USA. I searched as far and long and wide as I could on Amazon. And I could not find a product made in the USA to fit this description and intention. This is made in India. So far it’s held up nicely, it does the job, but I really wish it was made in America.

The bag is made of a soft cotton mesh. You'll need to tie the drawstring in a knot to keep the bag from opening when you use it. I was hoping that it would be a bit more coarse for an exfoliating experience (didn't want as course as sisal but not too soft). One side has more holes than the other, probably to help it dry.I dropped a small handful of soap bits in the bag, got it wet and it lathered right up. I just squeeze it out when I'm done and hang it on a hook in the shower by the drawstring and it dries out quickly.

There were a lot of bad reviews so I was on the fence. But for real, I have bought so many different soap bags. This one last me for a whole year and it still works. I knew I had to buy more. If you put small little soap slices, of course it’s going to come out if you don’t tie the knot at the top. That’s elementary.....I use it every day in my shower and add the little left overs to my bigger soap and never had an issue with anything slide out. It’s so so so worth it. Super great.

The product states “eco bags”. However you only get one. I thought there would be 2 which is fair for the price. I tried to return but Amazon shows “not eligible for return” so I am stuck with it.
