Perfect gift for that Navy vet you know
My friend happens to be a Navy NCO and he's one of those guys that you can on occasion just randomly stumble across the perfect gift. This was really neat, when I got to inspect them I was surprised it was ceramic but that's even better because I don't know how they'd bring all those details out of glass as easily without some kind of black magic. The brass finish is really nice, it looks like a much more expensive gift. I liked it, he loved it, it was an easy win all day.

Lovely. But came a bit defective.
Let me just startoff by saying that the craftsman ship of these two little mugs are quite superb. They have a pretty sturdy feel and got a good weight to them. However, they both came with some deformities; both are slightly dented at the base while one has a scratch near the bottom, and the other has a tiny air bubble poking out at the mouth piece. But it's alright. I got one for my step-brother who will be leaving for training in the Navy; God bless him. And the other is for a friend of mine who is a retired veteran; also from the Navy, as a token of my gratitude and symbol of our friendship. Naturally, I would've requested for an exchange to be made, but there may not be enough time as my step-brother will be leaving within the next few days. Also, I just didn't want to be petty about a couple minor dents that don't necessarily render the cup un-useable; because overall they are still very nice cups. I'm sure my step-brother and buddy won't mind and will appreciate them regardless. After all, it's the thought that counts. Cheers!

Ceramic
Part of me really wishes they were brass and not ceramic, but I knew what I was getting. These were perfect and have a good aesthetic to it. Not sure intend to actually drink out of them, but one certainly could.

Brass plated US Marine corps insignia shot glasses two pack
I must not have read the description because I thought I was only getting one shot glass. This is a two pack, so that was a pleasant surprise. They are made to honor the US navy, and they carry the official US Navy SEAL on them.I got them as a present for a retired naval officer and he absolutely loves them. I field-tested them and they do the job. They are well made and are ceramic coated with brass. They almost look gold plated. Very attractive and the company makes them for all of the armed services I believe.A thoughtful gift that is a great value as well.

Beautiful set!
This is a beautiful set of shot glasses. I got these to add to our collection and I couldn't be any happier. These are ceramic painted to look like brass on the outside and the inside is black. The print is clear and looks fantastic. The bottom is stamped .50 cal, but these glasses are full sized shot glasses so much larger than an actual .50 shell.

Cool idea for a shot glass; well made and heavy duty
These shot glasses are well made, and carry some weight to them. Modeled after a 50-caliber casing, they have a brass color, but are not brass. This is my only gripe. I ordered these, knowing they were not going to be brass, but it would've been a lot cooler if they were. These instead, are made of ceramic that is coated with a thick acrylic that kind of softens up some of the details. The Navy emblems on them look nice, and the finish is very glossy and reflective; it does show a lot of water spots and finger prints, so keep them clean! These make a cool addition to any shot glass collection though, and are a fun conversation starter to pave the way for some sea stories.

Great Gift - Go Navy!
I ordered these as an addition to a new bar. I happen to be a Navy Officer, so it's nice to have some Navy swag floating around, especially when my former Air Force father comes to town! These are made of ceramic with a brass paint, so while they may be more fragile than brass, you don't have to worry about a metallic taste in your drink. These may be modeled after a .50-caliber round, but they're a bit larger in diameter.
